Good work, might just get him in myself if he does well next week. Deliberately held back on Simpson to open up some options with structure, could be Oxley/Saad to Hunt in round 3.

Could be, I'll be watching the progress of all my defenders and will possibly hold back some funds for rookie upgrades. McIntosh has given me confidence to run with 2 playing rookies (for now) but may change after Saturday. Goodes will also be on notice.

This is that cold pit in the stomach feeling.    I am worried Bev will give the youngsters time and hold goodes in reserve to come in when they bomb.    Hope not.  But would feel much happier seeing him on wing, HBF or ruckrover.
