Where would you downgrade to get newton?

Heater Kelly Newnes Higgins Goodes Saad (McIntosh Brown)
Gaz Pendles Fyfe Gray Danger Cripps Cockatoo Vanderburg (Heeney Miller CEY)
Goldy NicNat (Cox)
Bartel Martin Swan Saalem Clark Lonie (Lamb Hogan)

FactHunt

yeah, probably not.
You'd have to downgrade NicNat, Danger or Higgins I reckon... and those options don't seen then way to go with the rest of your structure.
Cocky has looked great in the early stages, I just hope he doesn't vest it up for you.

Not sold on cockatoo but really bo other mid rookies playing? Am I missing any?

Not that I see for JS + $$.

I guess the other element to this is Gray V selwood. Coukd be a 10pt/per game difference between them by years end. Agree?

Ideally you'd be getting in both and swinging Gray to your forwards at some point. Although, if you don't get your rookies right then you'll end up losing hundreds of thousands and might miss out on getting a completed team. Selwood is definitely a safer pick than Gray, but Anderson is a much bigger risk than Cockatoo.

What's the rest of your team like? Any other ways to save $40k?

Team above, welcome any thoughts on how to save 40k.
