Hibberd is shaping up to be a nice POD if all goes well on Tuesday.
I'm swapping Heater out for him if need be, he's rock solid.

Anyone fancyMalceski ... At the moment I have 200K in the bank ... I know he is expensive but do we think he will still be top 6 ?

Should be Top 6, but I'm hoping he drops just below 500k and then I'll grab him

If you've somehow got a spare 200k, inject that into the other lines where better scorers are

Happy with my mids cripps and sheed m5m6...  2 set and forget rucks ... Have danger atm but might get kennedy prefer a POD over Selwood ... Have swan but might go Bennell/franklin/bartel

I have a midpricer at d4 kolodjasnij which is basically the one I think should be improved ... I am not a simpson fan this year  ... And other premos don't fill me with confidence ...

Ideally RD belly gets off tomoro and I'll pick him at f4 :p ...

I've put him in my most recent team.

Yes he will drop in price, but you're paying for a guy that you know will be a top 6 defender (most likely top 3). It's pretty murky after guys like Simpson and Shaw to work out who will stand up, but what's a bit of extra coin (as you say you have some) to sure up the defence.

Kade Simpson hasn't moved from D1 since SC opened, but for the first time I am actually having doubts

Tell me I'm just being silly, or is there any merit to the thought?

Seriously considering downgrading him to Newnes and pocketing 75k

Newnes is young, more mid time, should push 90 and I think will be very consistent, where as Simpson just has years and years of 95ish averages, but does put in the odd stinker.

If I did this, then Simpson would be the first defender I upgrade into the team later in the season

Worth it? Or just silly?

I've done the same, with Newnes at D3. The extra cash has come in handy

Simpson is a rock, you know exactly what you are paying for, 22 games and a 95 average. With so much uncertainty in the back line I'm sticking with the tried and trusted.

Hibberd was my original choice with Newnes at D4 but I've moved Newnes to M3 and Lumumbababa to M4 with Goodes at M5.

I'll assume all of those M's are meant to be D's :P

Hah! yeah. Having a dyslexic moment
