Cockatoo - who's a pretty boy?

Joel Selwood quoted in today's AGE re Nakia Cockatoo:  "a ready to go factor", "he's definately in a position to play round one"
Chris Scott added that he would "buy a membership just to watch him play" and that he "had emerged as a legitimate option
to play in the midfield."  I would think that he would definately get early games, but could be wearing a vest much of that time.
Still, food for thought, especially if one of the better fancied rookie mids goes down early.

Out of all of the mid rookies below 200k, at this early stage I'd say he has the best JS of the lot

He will get the occasional vest, but the reality is that most rookies will at one point

In terms of points, if I had to guess I'd say he will get 8-12 touches most weeks, maybe kick the odd goal and score around 50-65 most weeks, but will get the odd 80+ too

I'm looking to get him in my side purely for his JS. I expect him to play a hell of a lot this year which means his price should go up each week. Might turn into a slow burn, but there doesn't seem to be a stack of mid rookies popping up that seem to have JS anywhere near as solid as his
