Round 8

The round of Chaos for most teams.  Quite a few teams had under-performing captains with 6 nominated captains failing to ton up and another 2 just scoring 101.

Crosby Cruisers with the upset of the round defeating the 2nd placed Owls.

The match of the round turned out to be the Hedgehogs v Hawks with the Hawks getting home by 9 points only.

Really feel for the Steins who can not take a trick with a late outs in Redden and Henderson and only one fit player on the bench. Giants are really struggling and no doubt looking for that priority pick at seasons end.

We now have a definite Top 8 but will they stay there. Badgers, Cruisers, Hedgehogs and Magic may think differently but Hedgehogs and Cruisers need to lift their percentage. Table at end of post.

Round 8 table below

kilbluff1985

Steins cant take a trick what about Dragons?

Rocky was out most of the season to date
B Crouch out
Zaharakis been out
Duncan out for ages
Hansen was out for a bit
Titch couldnt get a game

imagine our midfield in a couple years though  :o

need to trade our first pick for a defender though is the plan

LF

We are barely fielding 15 players atm, playing depth of depth players in some spots, couldn't use our sub this week and yet somehow scored our highest score of the season so far.
I feel glad we managed to fix our depth problem from last season otherwise we wouldn't have been fielding 15 players the last few weeks.
Just need our injured players to hurry on back now and some of the others to find their way back into their teams.
Bulldogs get Macrae back in and you might win a game :P

Round 8 results updated after my error.

Awards post will be updated soon.

Do not worry KB there is only one way for you and that is up and you still managed one of the higher scores for the week.

Man, we need to lift our game. We'll slip out of the top 4 if we dish up for sub par efforts like this one.
