Iv got barlow,  prestia,  greene,  wines a.swallow,  rich in my mids

I want to foot crouch in but stuck on who goes.
i don't have much cash to play with

Would people leave crouch out or who would you swap him for

Ricochet

Think you need some 120+ ultra premos in that midfield mate - Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, Jelwood, Fyfe

Otherwise you'll fall behind quickly

Of those I would take out Greene for BCrouch

mark621

I have one but hes not in question for changing out.

I want sure if a swallow should be the one to go honestly

What's a delema?

Are they those cancerous things you get on your skin from too much sun?

Mark

Id trade Greene also to Crouch

ben_020285

Ahhh a dilemma. That's better!

Yeah as Rico said, your dilemma is the omission of all of the super premo mids. You need to have two of the top 10 mids from last year at the very least, preferably three. Ablett and Pendles are must haves imo.

So you have those 6 plus a super premo mid ? your other lines must be weakened , as others have said go the gun mids get Crouch but you could easily get rid of 2 of them and get a rookie or 2

Honestly, I'd pick one of Greene, Wines, Swallow, Crouch and thats it. Pick your favorite, pair with 3-4 of Gaj, Pendles, Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, JPK, Beams or Rockliff. Then fit Rich in as your 5th or 6th forward if you really want him.

 :)
Don't know how financially feasable it is but Greene for Crouch and then Swallow and Wines out for a decent rookie and a heavy-hitting prem. Cheers.    ;)

you guys do realize that only usually only 3-4 players who's avg finished top 10 the year before do it again the following year??

2009 > 2010 - swan, Gaz, NDS, Juddy, Montagna
2010 > 2011 - swan, Gaz, NDS
2011 > 2012 - swan, Gaz, Pendles
2012 > 2013 - swan, Gaz, Pendles, Jobe, Joelwood
2013 > 2014 - Gaz, Pendles, Joelwood

so loading up on 4 of last years top 10 could be a waste of coin, best option would be get 2 (Gaz/Pendles) and maybe a 3rd (Joelwood - i'll jump on when he's cheaper like the last 2 seasons,  2014 $84K cheaper/2013 $138K cheaper)

that money you save could be spent on better rookies/weakened lines.

So starting all of Gaz Pendles and Selwood would look like a pretty good bet then? Especially since Gaz/Pendles have been there several years running.

Keeper27

Gaz and pendles. Yes.
Your next 2-3 premos is up to you.
Most likely last years top 10 won't be the same as this years.

Besides gazza and pendles nobody in the midfield is a lock.
With more TOG% Barlow could easily be a top 10 mid.

Just saying.

You're absolutely right. Very few players averaging over 110 do it again the next year.

But 3 of them are always Gaz, Pendles and Selwood! You have to pick at least 2 of them for 2 reasons:

- Captaincy
- The fact that they are too hard to trade in if you don't start with them, therefore making u suffer in the second half of the season, when others have all the top premiums. It may save u a trade or 2 if u can fit in another keeper, but it's not worth it.

Rocky or Fyfe could replace one if you are confident they will stay up at 120+.

With your other 2-3 premiums, you can get whoever u want!

To answer your question, I would go with Swallow as he is proven, Prestia as he has consistently risen in average, and 1 of Wines/Crouch, both 3rd year guns.

Greene is a bit too up and down I think, and you don't need the injury prone Barlow if u have 2 super premos.

im sticking with barlow as my M3, 116.3 avg (4 x 120+) from his Bye till the finals with only 78.7% TOG.
his disposals/efficiency wont increase but his TOG will, and will increase his avg.

Barlow has had
2012: 78.5% TOG (24 matches)
2013: 80% TOG (24 Matches)
2014: 78.3% TOG (19 matches)

I don't think he will be getting a TOG increase as he has done the same even in the years where not injured.
