Hi,

that time of year, and I have an early version of my team which I am beginning to like, so I thought I would get some public opinion on it so far.....

Mids.
G.Ablett, S.Pendlebury, N.Fyfe, J.Kennedy, D.Rich, N.Van Berlo, A.Brayshaw, J.Hunt (A.Vandenberg, B.Newton)

Ruck.
M.Jamar, M.Leuenberger (J.Griffin, N.Naismith)

Forwards.

I find Malceski to be a bit overpriced, although he is a solid scorer and will do just fine this year.
I see no upside to Frost; what's you're thinking there?
I'm not sure if Whitecross is best 21, maybe go Henderson or Waters?
Interesting to see a team without one of Kruezer or Bellchambers, while going down that road might be the right call, I doubt starting with Jamar (as a premium?) is the way to go.
I think there are much better options then Hawkins in the FWD line at that price, albeit maybe a bit more riskier (e.g T. Mitchell, Crisp, Adams, J. Thomas)

Thanks Thefuzz really appreciate the feedback,

I was thinking Frost has been training the house down, and if he starts is going to kill it.

same with Jamar,  a bit of a unique, is training the best he has for 3 years, and i think is set to play the best he has for an age

as for Hawkins, with clarke taking some pressure off him this year I am hoping he will have a big year with another big forward taking one premium defender out of his way.

malceski, was just a premium, not any other reason, so he may change,   and whitecross was a cheapie, and also may change ( I will look at henderson and waters).

just not sure about malceski, jamar hawkins. A few of the young players will change i get that. Your unique ruck is interesting, so many going belly, kruzer and leuy as a ruck combo. All ideas have their merit.

I think hawkins will do well. But as he wont be the only target anymore, his numbers might dry up a bit. Who knows.

Good luck

Frost is a key position defender, him training the house down doesn't mean he will be getting a buttload of possessions/DT points, it means he will be doing a good job of not letting his opponent get the ball.

Frost would also be my main pick here to have another look at, unless frost has a new role?

d.clohesy

it looks like they are using frost as a lock down defender
