I was really hoping Ward would continue to be a POD, but it seems like he will be very popular this year

Haha yeah it's really looking like a few of us were sitting there rubbing our hands thinking what a uniques he could be as a starter...

If it helps, I'm loving the fact people are picking him now. Not convinced by him at all.

I'm going JPK Watson/sloane as my M4 M5

Sloane should be in this conversation. 19/22 100+ is pretty good.
Do you have reasons for not being convinced by Ward Holz? Sloane went 19/22 but Ward had two injuries games at the end of the season but besides that went 100+ 16/19 times. That's 3 sub 100 games, two of which were scores of 92 and 93.

Too many question marks around gws. Griffen in the squad, the rise of all their young midfielders.

JPK has backed it up multiple years and plays for a elite team that should stay relatively constent. Watson is a legend I'm not an elite team but a good one which I expect to remain constant.

Punting on a gws player I have no idea on.

Ward is a contested possession beast though so unless they kick him out of the midfield I can't see him dropping off.
Would personally rather JPK as well but his bye makes it tricky
