Backs: Shaw, Hibberd, Birchall, Newnes, Waters, Goddard (Dick, Brown)

Centres: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Ward, Priddis, Henney, Boekhorst, Freeman (Steele, Dumont, Lambert)

Rucks: Jacobs, NicNat (Cox)

Forwards: Deledio, Goddard, Swan, Clark, Hogan, Leverade (Daniel, Krakouer)

Cash: 18k

Not sure if my forwards are too weak, thoughts?

AaronKirk

Compared to other sides your forwards seem weaker but your other lines are all very strong so IMO it shouldn't be much of an issue

Nice side.

Personally I'd downgrade Pridda and upgrade laverde but like AK said strong team nonetheless

Ricochet

Nah nothing wrong with you're fwds mate. You've made up for it through the strength of your rucks and a 5 premo midfield.
NIce team. You'll probably need to find a better D6 but that can come once we see more in NAB

Ratzondix

Priddis to a NVB or Biggs and upgrade D6 or F6 maybe? Nice team.

Just looking at the forwards I am not worried. If that is where the rookies are that you are going to make the most cash out of loading up is not an issue. It means you can upgrade quicker and due to the cash generation.

Clark is still no certainty Rd1, Krakeour needs upgrade, laverde and Daniel need to break 22. Needs a back up plan, just to be sure

Mat0369

I am assuming the rookies are placeholders. There looks to be close to 20 options that could play round 1 priced between 100-200k in the forward line. If 5 of those guys are good to go you are in a fine position.

Not sure if the backline is too weak or not?

Backs: Shaw, Newnes, H.Lumumba, Sheppard, Whitecross, Saad (Goddard, Brown)

Centres: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Priddis, Ward, Heeney, Boekhurst, Freeman (Vanderburg, Lambert, Krakouer)

Rucks: Jacobs, Bellchambers (Cox)

Forwards: Gray, Goddard, Martin, Swan, Clark, Hogan (Karnezis, T.Lamb)

Cash: $16k

Thoughts?

Looks good to me, especially since you've managed to squeeze Gray into your FWD as a result of this

I'm going to run the gauntlet on DEF this year and start light. The thinking is I'll upgrade this line first once I know who the stand out players/roles will be

AaronKirk

Way too much risk in the defence, one stuff up and you could be shot for the year. Play it safe and go deeper.

Sheppard has had one decent NAB game, unsure whether he is best 22 for West Coast.

Put a line through WhiteX. Highly unlikely to play round one. Harry L playing a lockdown role- many better options.

Saad still needs to be promoted to the senior list to play round one. Goddard and Brown probably will play round 1.

After looking through the feedback and the must haves I think i'm finally happy, but want your thoughts?

Backs: Simpson, Shaw, Lumbumba, Goodes, Brown, McIntosh (Saad, Hamling)

Centres: Ablett, Pendle, Fyfe, Selwood, Lewis, Cripps, Heeney, CLY (Miller, C.Smith, Lambert)

Rucks: Goldstein, Bellchambers (Luey)

Forwards: Gray, Bartel, Martin, Swan, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Lamb)

Cash: 8,900k

Thoughts?

xeno

you have too much money sitting on the bench with leuenberger. with the lack of defensive rookies i'd stuck with one of leuy or bellchambers and upgrade either goodes or brown in defense.

plugger36

That was meant to say Luecy from geelong...
