I have taken a risk in the mid's with 4 rookies and not the strongest bench cover. But it's allowed me to bolster other areas. Do you think this could pay off? Any thoughts would be great.

No glaring weaknesses anywhere- bit of a cookie cutter team in defense, mids and forwards- Goldstein POD in ruck.

Make sure all your rookies are selected and have a small amount of $ to change if necessary.

My Thoughts

I like the fact of having Langdon in the mids for DPP, but obviously losing out on Crouch.
I have chosen Roughy over Martin in the fwds, not by choice but i needed money to fit in everyone in the back line.
I like having 5 strong mids, hopefully Watson isn't struck down by ASADA. (most likely will be, but i figure i can just straight swap when the time comes for someone like SWAN, SELWOOD).

If you have any comments or suggestions please post below. Everyones opinion is welcome.

Quite a strong team here although you have taken the risk by leaving out Dusty.
Def: Prefer Langdon in Defence but i see you are going to use him as DPP.
Other Defenders are great
Mids: Great Choice of mids can't fault any
Rucks Very Strong here probably the 2 best.
Fwds: Good Choices here you shouldn't lose out by picking Roughy


I think this team should finish top 500 with a little luck. i give it an 8.5/10

I totally agree. I feel my only real weakness is missing D.Martin.

Do you think it's worth moving Langdon to the backline for Laidler, bring in Crouch, and upgrade Roughead to Martin?

Very strong side mate, similar to mine.
Although i would get Cotchin in for Watson IMO

very similar to my team mate.
cotch in will give you big headaches rd a 8 bye. for taht reason i have gone watson. as said if he gets rubbed out, its a straight swap to swan selwood, or another gun mid who may be on a price fall.

i think its a pretty good team, but my opinion may be shaded as its very much like my team. i may have rose coloured glasses on.....interested to see what other rates you get mate.

Fwd - Goddard, Martin, Swan, Membrey, Clark, Hogan (Steele, Krackouer)


My Thoughts - Not really happy with whitecross? And feel a little short in the fwds staring Membrey, Clark & Hogan, all big players who don't get alot of it. Dangerfield might be a risk, hasn't signed, and didn't get the captancy but still a fantasy stud.

Any other thoughts would be much appriciated. Obviously rookies are subject to change.

def: Like the first 4 picks. Not sure whether Whitecross is in their best 22. Hopefully a rookie pops up during the nab games that we can select hoping that they will play round 1.
mid: Very strong mids. Dangerfield a pod so is JPK. Like the rookie selections also.
ruck: Standard.
fwd: Forward a little weak with Membrey at F4.

Perhaps downgrade Dangerfield so you could get a better fwd? Nice team though :)
