i would go fielding to capable if it was me and should get a tech pop hopefully then you wont have to worry bout fielding till late 19 or early 20

I personally wanted to get Padman to rel fielding this season but the U19 manager wants him to have reas power so im working on that.

Cicjose

that's not very helpful :(

and he isn't a nat because?
Obviously because he is only 16. -_-
That didn't stop the USA from playing them a couple seasons ago :P.

Cos he is still only 16 cic. I would expect him to start getting games when he is 18 to get the experience in to him before the world cup when he is 19
Could sneak in at 17 if you manage him to Rel/Rel (just for some added experience) as I've seen the Aussies do it before. Tough ask but your YA helps ;). He's probably the best Youth Pull on here EVER :o.

I'd go Fielding to at least Reasonable as he should get that easily within 4 weeks of training at 16. Could go to Capable (and get fielding out of the way completely and be up to standards for a few seasons) then focus on Primaries. If he wants to make the U19's by 18, I'd work some Endurance next season up to Average at least.

I'd get him to Capable fielding CF asap, because you should get the first pop before the EOS and Capable fielding will be ideal for his age at the moment. It should also put you pretty close to a tech pop if it doesnt do it during it. That way, when he gets older, if you need to do more fielding you only need to waste a few weeks for a pop to Reliable.

But after the Cap fielding, I'd just hammer out primaries until he is at least 18-turning 19. Maybe 1 pop on Endo if it doesnt pop to reasonable itself by then. I'd imagine in your academy, he should be accom/accom at the start of his 19th season relatively easily. Then if he doesnt need work, Expert/expert before 20. :D

Just give him a lot of game time mate to get his experience up. :D

CrowsFan

Ok thanks for the help guys. Will set him to fielding training for now then re-evaluate later on :)

Yeah shaggy I am giving him lots of game time. Of the remaining 12 games this season he will be playing 9 of them. That is all 4 youth games, 3 SOD's and 2 T20's. So by the start of next season he would have played 11 youth matches, 7 SOD's and 4 T20s :)

Very nice. Lets hope for ordinary experience by end of season!

CrowsFan

Yep let's hope so. Do you know how many matches a player needs to play before popping in experience?

Bugger. I'll have a search around the forums then to try and find out

I think the question has been asked a lot but never been given a conclusive answer. Disappointing really though. :<

chrisuzz

You should be able to get him to reas exp by 19 easily though

Padman has played 13 SOD, 25 T20s and 41 YODS and 3 T20s with the NATs, and currently has reas experience, he got this right at the start of the season, you can use that as a comparison if you like :)

My 20/21yo's took about 15 weeks to pop in experience, playing 14 SOD in div 3, 14 T20 in div 4 and one pav cup match. Obviously experience gained varies with the divisions that the player plays in, but I think this gives a rough guide for you.

Tomorrow is the big day!
Will Lesnar pop??  :-X

roo boys!

Here's hoping he does! ;)

Are we sure that Exceptional skills = 12k SR?
And World Class = 13k?

Because the SRs for some of my players with skills this high are looking a bit wrong :-\

bomberboy0618

Yeah it is, as legendary=15k. Maybe you are doing it wrong?
