Sicily is tempting but I feel like I need to fix my forward line with most of my rookies hitting the wall or starting to underperform. Adams and Macrae are both potential 105+ options, but there is the Bevo factor to consider....

Mat0369

I'm screwing around with my trades and  there is also the possibility of doing something like this

Williams, Sharp and Bramble out
Garcia, Burgoyne and Serong in

I would still have the cash to trade D'Ambrosio and Darcy next week to the other Garcia and just about anyone I want next week. I still feel like a forward or defender is a better pick than a mid right now structure wise, but getting in Serong is really tempting.

Colliwobblers

Goody says Oliver will be back to his best following finger surgery 160 BE 500k that might be a thing in a couple of weeks I'm keeping an eye on. Oliver at 450k after back to back tons.... I'm inclined to have a plan to be able to get on that.

I genuinely think we may have to lose Laird with Soligo and Rankine and others having so many CBAs, that could be the move if it continues another week or two.

Oliver is the type you could place at M9 and use as injury insurance, that would be worth a trade. Laird's TOG really low this year, almost on par with Brodie, can't see that suddenly changing. The only thing that makes me think twice is DPP, if he gets forward status he suddenly becomes essential.

Mat0369

Oliver is one I have had an eye on, he was banged up and shouldn't have played in the last game. If he has a decent score tonight I'd be inclined to jump on next week at a pretty good price and have the ability to do that regardless of my trades this week.

Laird had decent TOG with Crouch out in the last game. The second quarter he rode the pine and the last he just couldn't get near it. I'm willing to hold at least one more week, he didn't drop under 110 in the first 4 games and rotations stopped him from going bigger. Even in awful games he has had an 80 and 74. It just sucks they were back to back

Mat0369

I swapped my VC off Green to Daicos before the Pies game. Well that sucks haha

Not as bad as my error Matt,  Did not check reverse trades and I have Tom Green on bench with no e.

That's brutal, reverse trades can bring a man to tears, doing this stuff on phones the stuff of nightmares.

Ouch that hurts

Mat0369

Yeah, that's pretty rough. I've been lucky to catch out and be burnt the reverse trade swaps a couple of times, but nothing that bad

So I had this up until 20 minutes before the bounce and decided to swap it back to the Macrae, Adams and Garcia option

The week has started off fantastically haha

I hope some of you guys got the Burgoyne points and price rise

Great call on Burgoyne, I think Ringo may have repaired some of the damage from the reverse trades mishap.

Good: Daicos, Roberts, Heeney, Miller, Green, Laird, Graham, English, Flanders, Darcy, Wilson
Pass: Windhager, Clohesy
Bad: Brown, Butters, Walsh, Bont, Grundy, Macrae, Cadman
Ugly: Bramble, Garcia, Adams, Comben, Powell, my decisions

This was an ugly week and the majority of it was self inflicted. Let's go through my screw ups.

Changed Green to Daicos VC 20 minutes before bounce resulting in a loss of 31 points.

Instead of looping Cadman with Wilson I decided to loop Darcy with Wilson for a loss of 35 points.

I had Burgoyne, Serong and Garcia in as my 3 trades for the round up until 15 minutes before that bounce. I reverted back to Adams, Macrae and Garcia instead thinking I would get two 'keepers' and could afford to bring in Serong this week.  Burgoyne and Serong scored a combined 257 compared to the combined 147 of the other two for a loss of 100 points.

Had traded out Bramble and then when D'Ambrosio was dropped I contemplated bringing one of Bramble or Williams back in. Graham was initially on my field with D'Ambrosio on my mid bench, I reverse traded after the Carlton game and it meant that Bramble now starts and a loss of 30 points.

Poor management cost me around 196 points, my league matches and a respectable score.

This week I think I do Powell to Sweet and Bramble to Serong. Save the dicking around and just bring him in like I wanted to last week. I could use my last boost but I'll look at BE's before I make that call.

Bully

Those original trades would have been brilliant, I think the forward line is a minefield this year, nothing has gone well for anyone, De Goey another who might burn owners this week. I would just stitch up another premo mid and Serong is as good as anyone. That leaves one spot for Petracca next week.

arbel

Ouch yeah it sucks when it doesn't work out and the trades burn you. Those trades are good, Sweet has to come in. It is the easiest of cash grabs you can do. I don't think you need to use the last boost yet. If you wanted to the only real bubble rookies worth a look are Garcia (bulldogs) and Rogers (GCS)
