Oldest son,his mate and my dad are going tho.
I think Australia will win comfortably trying to prove a point.
Lets hope not.
Come on Ireland.

I'll be there, hopefully its a cracker!
I'm actually pumped for this!
only found out yesterday it's only one game ::)
cmon Aussies!
Obviously hope the Aussies win but i think Ireland will kick too many unders for us to cope with.
Happy to be wrong :)
Aussies should win if they put in an effort for the first time since 06.
what time does this start?
thanx mate gonna be awesome to see this aussie side play
Pretty ridiculous how this game is delayed on tv in Adelaide.
Can't wait to watch this, going to be a ripper with the squad we're putting out

Yeah, game starts at 8:15 here and not on tv until 8:30. So probably a 30 minute delay with the pre game stuff.
isn't that just time difference?
Nah, we have a 2hr30min time difference and the game starts at 5:45 in perth so it's 8:15 here
SETANTA!
In case anyone was wondering

Yeah Aussies!
So is this a bigger crowd than yesterday's one-day match? Because that would really say something.

I'm curious as to how many ruckmen have played in an International Rules series?
Natinui did pretty well from what I saw

Stevie J unlucky I reckon.
Just watched the highlights on afl.com.au - looked like an exciting game
Not a fan of it personally, and a big LOL that the Irish who do this for a living cant beat a bunch of guys who have barely played :P
Awesome to see so much AFL guns all playing together (Bring back State of Origin!!)
they are not professional players like our guys are though most have other jobs over there

Still played the game thousands of more times than AFL players
And when are the Irish going to have to play us in AFL? ;D

Yeah, did great at the throw ups and stuff. Being athletic helps as pace seemed pretty fast, so he could keep up more than most other talls. Can't imagine we'd take in more than one every series/match.
Watched the match now as was out tonight. Aussies dominated that first half but got to say loved the Irish comeback as made things very interesting that second half!! Really enjoy that we took in better players and it showed in the performance!
The best for me was supporting every Aussie on the field. Normally I'd hope such and such would flower up, but tonight, I actually was cheering for them all, including Danger :o :). And I'm serious by the way, to me everyone was a team mate tonight. I only say this because on other forums, people are still giving opposition clubs players shower. Maybe I'm getting old and mellowing a bit (the old bits true ) but WE played the Irish, not each other

The Irish Dont play international rules they play Gaelic which is very different to this mixed comp
There is no such thing as marking, you mark the ball it's auto play on. There is no such thing as tackling you can only pressure on a d try and knock it out of their hands Like basketball. you can't pick the ball of the ground you need to chip it up to yourself.
If this was a Gaelic game it would be an absolute thrashing.
The game actually is far more like afl besides the ball really. Which is obviously an advantage but so is tackling and marking , the chipping the ball up to yourself on the run is incredibly hard to do as well.
Also with proper scoring it would has been 19-17. Unders should be 3 times ,more than overs not double.
Luke Hodge is going to need a bigger room for all his medals and trophies ..what a gun
Shhh Holz. Straya ftw.
Australia's team was overpowered :P
