Title: Beams and Boomer to who?
Post by: jeesh on August 19, 2014, 07:44:50 PM
Got 2 trades left and will be using them to trade Beams and Boomer. Fairly confident of winning my prelim as my opposition has all sorts of injury/suspension woes but not gonna take any risks and make sure I get across the line by using both trades. I'm thinking of trading Boomer to S.Martin just cause he has been Pendlebury like consistent with a season low of 89 from 10 games. Then I'm left with $565,600 to spend on a replacement for Beams. Who to get?

My team
DEF: McVeigh, Swallow, Simpson, Hanley, Hodge, Mitchell EMG: Bews, Aylett
MIDS: Selwood, Rocky, Beams, Pendles, Dal Santo, Murphy, Cotchin, Libba EMG: Hartung, ZOB
RUC: Nic Nat, Sandi EMG: Currie, King
FWDS: Boomer, Gray, Parker, Danger, D.Martin, Zorko EMG: Cameron, Kersten

Opponent
DEF: McVeigh, Swallow, Taylor, Bartel, Suckling, Mitchell EMG: Bews, Georgiou
MIDS: Selwood, Fyfe, Beams, Pendles, Dal Santo, JPK, Sloane, Boomer EMG: C.Beams, Acres
RUC: Goldstein, Sandi EMG: Currie, King
FWDS: Roughead, Gray, Parker, Danger, D.Martin, Zorko EMG: B.Johnson, Honeychurch

Toby Greene
In great form and up against a depleted Collingwood this week
Only thing to worry about is Caff, if Ward is out Greene could be a target... or Buckley will use Caff as a midfielder as he has no one else haha

Mate id really look at Buddy and Greene... just as the teams they are both playing and the form they are in.

And Marty is playing Sandi-Clark this week but still should score well..

But that's just my advice, you pick who you think and best of luck.

Im sure others on here will give you advice also mate...

Can't do Buddy mate even with only 2 games to go still wouldn't risk him not getting rested or reported and with Ward out Greene will most likely be the focal point I'd say.
Shuey the bully beat up on Melbourne earlier in the year scoring 137 and he has been in good form averaging 116 in his last 5. He hasn't played GC since 2012 and should be able to bully them also. Thinking I'm gonna grab Martin and Shuey

lol all too predictable

Thankfully I took Marks advice on Greene but took my own and steer cleared of Buddy and grabbed S.Martin
