Interesting list looks like i have 17 of the top 20. looks like i have a pretty standard team.
Dont have Cox Buddy or Daniher.
Gives a good indication as more serious guys are likely to have made a team at this stage.
Goldy at 6.1% seems low
Sylvia and Robbo look a little unique at this stage.
Pendles is underpicked and where is Murphy.
Good stuff MrC. This taken from the assistant coach I assume?
lol @ 24% of fools picking Buddy
Can I /r/equest numbers for Lake and Cloke? cheers.
I only have 12 of the top 20 (hipster as flower)
Can't wait to have Robbo as a POD once again. 8)
Considering that Pendles is one of my mega locks, he is suprisingly low.

Swan last year in the nab 61 66 66 and he had a pretty decent season.
on aother note Jobe Watson (50) any chance of him being dropped out of essendons best 22, 15 touches probably isnt good enough to stay in the 22.
Remember the GC game got shortened. Also I heard Gary rested up forward the whole game
Btw so only 28% are serious this year. All good.

The updated figures have finally come through and it's no surprise to see that Karnezis has risen from 0.4% to 7.4%. That probably equates to around 17,000 coaches who have jumped on recently. On the flipside Jack Viney has gone from being the second most picked player to 7th. Amazingly, despite still being on the rookie list Brett Goodes is now the fifth most popular selection on 41.5%. Jake Neade has also gone up in a big way.

Probably thanks to me and many others moving to him after Embley's injury. Bit weird that 10% have daniel Talia, I presume there has been no role change from a stopping defender that will average around 50...

Bulldust mate! Hartlett is a superstar 100+
Why would HH get 100+, given his 81.x score last year ?
Because
1. he's older
2. he has been injured
3. he is Port's best player
4. he is a superstar
5. he's fit
6. he is a superstar
7. if Ebert, Sidebottom, Redden ect can go 100+ why wouldn't the superstar Hamish?
Imo they will both average the same. Thats why i have both :) If you could only have one thought you'd go with Hepp since hes not as fragile.

Back onto the topic of Heppell, I just don't think he's a great DT'er, don't get me wrong, he's a great player - but I think he will always chuck in a 60 some weeks when he does resort back to the DEF position. I see him averaging 90-95, but not 95+... yet
Only just noticed that down the bottom of the list two new players have been added - international rookies Eric Wallace from the U.S and Gideon Simon from PNG. Both on 0% currently but I'm sure someone will pick them up.

Vanilla stuff in the top 3 trades, but Westhoff is the interesting one. Anyone thinking he's worth it in the short term? Obviously not going to score 154 every week, but with a 128 is set to boom in price and once he peaks, could be around the $550k mark making him easy to sideways trade. Anyone keen?

Haha yeah swapping a premium for him is a waste of time, but someone like Varcoe just looks like deadwood. Not going to raise cash in quick time, little chance of pulling a 80+ score. If you had no other issues, then something like Varcoe -> Westhoff would have a heap of upside to it, surely..?
lol westhoff can't play melb and gws every week

Yep, just doesn't look like a premium option to me this year with Moloney taking midfield time. Gold coast are vastly improved this year, I've got them finishing about 10th so there is no guarantee of a good score. To be honest wouldn't be surprised if brissy lost. Trading him for jjk who has a low be and will kick 8 against the dees.

Expecting 95+
yeah i'm hoping he can go 95+ as i've got him, but not expecting..., the key to him going 95+ will lie in him managing to boost his tackle numbers, as all he does is pretty much handball (doesn't get many marks)
i was basically forced into getting him last to try and free some cash while patching injuries last week - in an ideal world if i had a chance to do proper downgrades/upgrades i wouldn't go near him but i've been pretty much scrapping all year with my dt so far thanks to having robinson/kreuzer/grimes/gibbs/stanton et al

What is his b/e? Not expecting tons. Probably going to upgrade m. Jones to priddis. Expect him to score 90, increase in price, and upgrade him to premium after byes. I wouldn't sideways trade to get him. I wouldn't be doing this trade if there wasn't 44 trades.

not really, most people dont have many round 12 midfielders and the 2 best downgrades are hrovatt and mitchell in the mids, obviously hrovatt is a no go this week and bringing in mitchell could free up alot of cash to use for your other trade to help in the byes.
Im bringing in mitchell this week too as its the smart move for my byes.
If you're low on cash, then it makes sense. I figure if you can, get Mitchell in after his bye, right when he's on the bubble. Do the same with Hrovat.

Has anyone checked Hutchings' BE? Still a viable trade in target. At least as viable as starting Whitfield Rnd 1.

I'm bringing in Mitchell too. I need Rd 12 mids and I need to get rid of rd 13 Mids ( Lonergan ). I think it is a good move!

Hmm, not sure about you guys, but I need Evans this week to make up my 18. I'm trading him Rd 12. I'm booting Moloney and Berger this week as both have byes, Berger won't play for a while and Moloney has a massive BE when he comes back, so there's plenty of cash there. No need to rush a downgrade in my opinion to a player who's not yet on the bubble...who know's what could happen to Mitchell or Martin or Hrovatt, could be rested/injured before their 3rd game and then you're stuck with a non-playing rookie worth squat. If you wait until they're on the bubble you're minimising risk.

You want as many players as possible playing this week. If there wasn't a bye this week you would wait a week to get Mitchell on the bubble. He looks to have cemented his spot in the team. And by bringing him in this week you get the added bonus of his score for a player that is injured or has a rd 11 bye.

Haha, okay. I see everyone's points and understand. As far as I'm concerned, Rd 12 is my most important match as far as my cash league is concerned, so therefore my rucks are my priority. I need to get rid of Berger and Daw (Berger this week, Daw the next) which leaves me with only one midfield spot, which is going to Stants, not Mitchell because there's no rush on him. He'll come in round 13.

Especially when Sydney have been so reluctant to play the kid.
Personally I'm bringing in Hrovat over Mitchell. I don't have any mids out this week (except Moloney who I'm trading to Swallow) so I can afford to hold him on the bench. It'd be pointless getting Mitchell for me because he wouldn't be on field anyway. Plus I have concerns about Mitchell's JS but I'll still probably get him after his bye if named.
Well if Mitchell is sub then he's not in my best 18. If he plays full game, I'll bank on that 80-100, thank you very much.

I hate to break one of the golden rules, but what's the alternative?
I need a downgrade, so it's him or Hrovat who isn't playing so wouldn't add any to my score.
In bye carnage rules are meant to be broken.
...Hutchings is your answer if you don't have him already...
Not fully convinced yet but at the moment am getting in mitchell this week for moloney, then next week maybe do lonergan to martin/hrovat and then evans to barlow. Actually maybe just keep moloney this week and get him for the other of hrovat/martin next week and then get mitchell after his bye (for jaegar bomb maybe) would be safer. Reckon I'll do that :P

You'd think Mitchell's was pretty good. He was involved in more scores than any other Sydney player, he knows the game plan, and plays it gaddamn well. If Hutchings' JS is no better than Mitchell's, I'd be a happy chappy :)

That's what I call a sticky wicket.

Got both this week :P. Didn't get mitchell in though which maybe was the better option, hard to see martin beating 144. Double upgrade next week, get mitch in after his bye.
Tom Nicholls is a gun! Was only hoping for 60 odd but got nearly double that. May have to play him as r2 ahead of maric for the rest of the year :P

Hoping for a 60-65 ave for nicholls for the year, not going to get 10 tackles each week but should get 25-30odd hitouts a week!
Just looking at my team I think getting both Martin and Nicholls could be workable. It still isn't too bad with my bye structure but would leave me with 2 rookie mids at the end of the Round 13 which wasn't the plan. However, I'd then have around 600k in the bank to go bang-bang in Round 14.
I'm really tossing up between, hrovat and 19 players available in round 13 or Martin and 18 players available in round 13!!
Now I'm thinking is it worth not doing upgrades for the sake of bringing in these gun rooks.
Eg. My planned trades next week were:
Viney to Hrovat
and
Terlich to Birchall or Gawn to Kreuz/Goldy/Minson
Week after:
Jo'M to Mitchell
Crouch/Murphy to Barlow/Jack
But is it worth bringing in the premos one or two weeks late and going
Viney to Hrovat
Crouch to Martin
Week after:
Jo'M to Mitchell
Gawn/Rowe to Nicholls
I guess doing the second option means I can make upgrades for the next two rounds without worrying about byes... What are your thoughts?
Nichols will be more expensive than Rowe and gawn next week! Hopefully Martin spuds up so we don't have to get him! Before the bye(doubt he will though, he will probably go big like mitchell)

Martin has a rd 13 bye. I'm not bringing him in even if he tons up. I really want to try and gain an advantage in rd 13. I have 3 premo midfielders with rd 13 bye and JOM. JOM will be traded out rd 13. I will already have one donut in the midfield in rd 13 and I don't want any more.
Fair enough, but I figure I'm already stuffed Rnd 13, might as well do well Rnd 14 onwards :D

My players on that list. ;)
People trading out Berger even with him potentially lining up this week...? :o
I have 15 in the top 20 and 7 on the other notables list 4 of which are under 10% atm
Soon to be down to 13 and up to 8 if all goes to plan this week.

without that news, i was trading him to free up cash (to Nicholls)
but even with that, i'd probably still trade him
allows me to bring in 2 premos next week, and i can always pick him up as an decent R3 later in the season (after his next price drop)

I think i've gotten off lightly this week only owning Martin, Ablett and Heppell. :) I **should** still pass 2100. :)
EDIT: You've forgotten Hanley in that list. :)
add Fyfe to that list as well (apparently 15.2%), ditto JJK (at 47%)

I made that post 2 hours before he played.
well in that case you can add Hanley to the list. ;) And Jack started slowly too, don't have him but have Joey who's being as consistent as ever. :D
