(http://imageshack.us/a/img21/6239/71576659.png) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/21/71576659.png/)

The UAE Tigers are happy to announce that Jack Ziebell has now joined the club. The tough midfielder will enjoy working with Deledio, Greene, Hill and Sandilands in the midfield next year and cannot wait for the challenge. It is not all good news as the Tigers lost LeCras to gain Ziebell and are looking to try and bring in another forward.

Foley leaves Tigers
(http://imageshack.us/a/img708/9562/63216060.png) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/63216060.png/)

Nathan Foley has decided his time at the UAE Tigers is up and has left to the Manila Folders. In return the Tigers have received pick 11 in this years National Draft and believe that new Tiger Jack Ziebell can be his replacement. We thank Nathan for his time and contribution at the club.

Ellis happy to join Tigers!
(http://imageshack.us/a/img577/8791/10889342.png) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/577/10889342.png/)

The UAE Tigers are happy to announce there 2nd player to join the club in this seasons first trade period! Ellis has moved over from the Taiwan Dolphins but was unhappy there and was involved in a trade with Sam Wright. Ellis is feeling good about his body and is confident he can finally get over his injuries.

Higgins and Hartlett join the Tigers!
The Tigers have added Shaun Higgins and Hamish Harlett to their line up. But they did not come cheap, as the Tigers have lost 2 premium scorers in Ryan O'Keefe and Andrew Carrazzo. Higgins and Hartlett adds some youth to the team, as the Tigers look towards the future.

We're extremely happy with those picks- we targeted the best players possible, and they happened to compliment our squad nicely. We had a set list of what we wanted to get with each pick, and we got what we wanted with each pick.

What is the Tigers plan going forward? Are you looking at a premiership in the very near future or are you planning to build some more first?

With the big inclusions of Stanton and Yarran we're hoping to be a chance this year.

Got a decent looking team here JROO.

Think you're just behind a couple of the other contenders though. Looking at a 4th/5th placed finish.

Lacking that super VC option IMO.

Don't let the crazy Port fan draft him then :P

I think our team will do better than our list looks purely because we can lock in Pendles and Ebert as C and VC each week and occasionally throw it over to Rioli when it looks like he might explode (Going of Sportsbet scoring he had a 221 point game last season and a 230 point game in 2011 o.0).

Unlikely Colli, we've been destroyed by injury (Knights, Higgins, Sandilands)
Every week we have one or two players not playing in a forward line so it's hurting us but we play some of the team outside of the 8 and I think we may get enough wins to pay finals this year.

some good moves over the trade period, draft and period 2 to go, think the tigers are looking good heading into 2014

Thanks Colli, I'm still hoping for some more trades  :P
We've got better depth this year which hurt me last year as I had to keep playing players OOP.
I also finished 6th on total points, but had but had the most points against.

flower  >:(, Ricky Henderson will join Seedsman, Christesen and Bellchambers on the sidelines and all of them could potentially miss the start of the season If you don't like a player just trade him to me and he'll get injured  ::) ::)

The deal didn't involve a defender though, just a forward and ruck, hopefully I'll be ok there  :-\

With Paul Seedsman, Ricky Henderson, Tom Bellchambers and Majak Daw already on the injury list, Shannon Hurn, Courtenay Dempsey, Brett Deledio, Jack Ziebell and Mitch Robinson have all sustained injuries this week and inn doubt to line up for UAE this week. Ryan Griffen and Richard Douglas are just returning from injuries, so it could've been even worse for the Tigers. We were destroyed by injuries last year and I think it's going to happen again this year  :(

Yeah Dusty has easily been our best player all year, so he's a deserving winner.
Stef Martin finished with the highest average though and polled in pretty much every game he played.
There was some concern about our forward line coming into the season, but looks to be fine atm  ;)
