Need to get one in for bye cover, have 8 donuts prior to trades. Upgrading Porplyzia or Smith, but likely Porps.

If I get Robinson I can turn Coniglio into Redden or Cotchin, but if I bring in Chappy I can only afford Ebert or Mitchell, and Stevie J only allows me to get Mitchell. What are your thoughts on them? Cheers

Get robbo.. Durable hard nut who has age on his side, compared to the other two options.  Not to mention Carlton need to prove to the world that they are legit, so I'd imagine they'd want him to relish the opp.  Opposed the the cats who have ageing stars and are prone to resting some guns from time to time.

As for the mid upgrade, I'd hold off until I could afford an ultra premo like an ablett or swan.  Already have them?  get a pendles, Thompson, Boyd, Watson, Selwood, Murph type player.  A proven gun that has seasons behind him of high scoring potential.

Cotchin is a dead set jet, but his scoring in the past hasn't been as good as those above etc.

with exactally the same decision, I went Robbo, purely that the extra cash gets me Boyd and Shaw next two weeks, but I really had to think about this, Chap and I would be in a good winning pos in Rd 13, but he has so many 0 that I just went Robbo, I think SJ and Chap have slightly inflated ave atm because of their last two weeks, in short- Robbo will match them, and the cat boys more likely to be rested later on! so went Robbo

oh sure here is my MID and FWD lines. Was planning on getting a gun MID soon a la Stanton; Swan; Watson, etc, but tossing up getting a cheaper one like Ebert or Mitchell. Could even get Robbo into MIDs for Coniglio (out four weeks) and then finish off with Chappy in FWD? Switch Zorko for Robbo and I have 7 FWD premiums then

MID: Ablett, Pendles, Thompson, Selwood, Magner, Williams (Coniglio, Boyd)
FWD: Sidebottom, Franklin, Beams, Martin, Dangerfield, Porplyzia, Zorko (Smith, Treloar)

So with my 2 donuts in defence, I currently have 3 in the mids and 3 in the fwds. Trading Horsley to Williams already (don't have DPP link to MID; should I get Sexton - only need cover for the byes)  so have now $308,700 in bank with 12 trades. Trade out Porps or Smith then?

Also, you guys didn't vote Robbo aha

Mabye Magner to Robbo, then Smith to Chap and have them both in the Foward line after Rd13?

I recon go on structure.

How many rd 12/13 players do you have in that position already?

Coniglio is out for four weeks with a broken thumb, no point holding him if I'm carrying Pendles too.

@Whatlez, I have next week I have no donuts in defence, 2 in MIDs if I get Williams not Sexton, none in ruck, and 1 in FWD (Chappy). Probably won't trade

Rd 13 I have 2 donuts in def but will upgrade Morris making it one; then no donuts anywhere else


So I'm considering Porps/Smith -> Chappy, and Coniglio -> Robbo. Yay or nay?

I'm really set up for next week.
