It seems that every team I look at has a waters and hargrave in it, somehow i managed to not start with any rd 11 mid-pricers/keepers and with 5 rd 13 players, I need to upgrade an under performing rook Ellis.

cheers for the input so far, i was leaning towards Lake for a point of difference from the top teams who have hargrave and seems to have hit some 2010 form of late, plus is cheaper too.

Lake, I traded him in last week. I didn't start with either 3. My backs now sit at;

Goddard, Scotland, Deledio, Broughton, Bugg, Lake, Dempsey.

I gotta say Hargrave personally but Lake and Hargrave are pointless for you now mate. You should of got them before their massive price rises. Now the only logical one to get is Beau Waters because your not paying +$100k for what you could of got Lake and Hargrave for. No point now they'll all score the same and Waters has rose the least in price so more point choosing the tough nut. Plus no one can hurt him

Lake/Hargrave are basically premium defenders, they are still cheap.

Out of those three, I would choose lake. They are all premium defenders and have similar scoring potential but lake is the cheapest. If you take out lake's first match, he's averaging around 95. Currently, I believe lake is the most underpriced. If you still have room for premium defenders, try to grab 2 or 3 of them. I only have lake and Hargrave because I don't have room for waters.

I voted Waters
I only have Waters out of the 3 but I would be happy with any of them they are all scoring well
They all have the same risk factor.
