Hey guys, this was a game run last year on the forum by maca so all credit goes to him for this game. Unfortunately it didn't get up and running this year, but I thought I would start it up and see how many people would like to play.
Rules
The game is very simple. Each week you have to pick 5 players who you think will score very highly in SC, unfortunately you wont be able to pick Pendles, Swan, Ablett etc each week because I will add stipulations to limit who you can pick and make it more exciting. A stipulation could be something like pick a ruckman or pick a defender who costs under 400k. Just fun things like that.
Each week one of the stipulations will be to pick a captain. They have their score doubled :)
If you name a player such as Selwood/Thompson/Smith etc and don't specify which one you mean you will receive the lowest scoring one for the round
Player lists must be submitted before the first game of the round, otherwise they will not be counted.
Scoring
Each round there are up to 11 points on offer, with a max of 7 to one person.
• 5 points goes to the overall highest scorer for the round
• 3 points to second highest
• 1 point to third highest
(NB If 2 people are tied for first they will both receive 5 points, the next person will receive 1 point. If 2 people tie for second they will both receive 3 points and no one will get a point for third.)
There are then bonus points to be had.
• 1 point to the winner if they outscore second place by more than 50 points.
• 1 point to the person with the highest scoring UNIQUE player (most not have been chosen by anyone else)
So as you can see a very basic, but enjoyable game. Anyway I'll announce the first 5 stipulations in a minute and then you can start picking your players. Good luck to all that enter :)

Yeah you can change your picks all the way up to the first game of the round. Once that game starts you can't change. If I see a post that has been edited after the start then I wont count that team ;)

CF Clarification not scored 100 Is it just SC or DT as well. I have a player in mind who has not scored 100 in SC but has a 112 in DT.

Well tabs when you have Buddy (140), Birchall (122), Ablett (125) and Swan captain (282), it's pretty hard to lose. Although you tried your best by picking Seaby (77).
For everyones information out of the players who were selected under the criteria "haven't scored a hundred yet", only Redden (118) and Newman (116) managed to score their first this week ;)

Interesting CF as you know I asked the question and this site was showing only 98 v Carlton at that stage but now shows 109. Genuine mistake based on FF stats. DT was showing 112 but now shows 105 as well so may have been some issues with FF. Did not check SC myself either just relied on the player data on this site knew Reddan was not having a good start so checked his stats here.
I originally went with Newman as well but changed to Didak at the line. >.> Not that it mattered, everyone else went terrible. Mostly Kennedy though as captain failed big time. barbie!
I just followed the crowd and went with Redden :P

I would have thought that the definition of the word 'suspended' more revolves around missing games. Convicted of, or found guilty of seems to be what you're referring too? ::)
Well Montagna was handed a suspension so what happened after that doesn't really change that fact. There was nothing that stated he had to have missed a game for it in the stipulation. As I said, a technicality. Didn't really change much though as it was more charity I was allowed that it stood given I screwed up the Ebert tards.

yeah sounds like the best idea
that way it keeps it simple without having to check who everyone had as vice this way it's nice simple and easy

The only thing to think about is if you have a stipulation for the captain pick like this weeks under 300k and the player who is brought into the team is 350k it might start a bit of controversy. BUT if like normal the captain pick is just pick a captain then this shouldn't matter I suppose!

Shattered I went Ablett as captain. Nearly didn't in favour of Dangerfield but couldn't look past his opponents while I figured either Danger or Thompson would get Crowley and that would hurt. Should have gone with my gut.
Still, Cox + Beams + GAJ (C) is not bad at the moment. Probably got me well in front right now.

like i said i haven't actually added any up thats just purely from guesswork going by knowing what players scored well and who didn't
