is anyone else nervous about getting freo players due to ross lyon playing a crap style of football?
Goddard, Fisher, NDS, Montagna, Riewoldt (before last season) etc have all managed to score well with him as coach. I'm sure the top players at Freo will still score well ;)
yeah true, im worried about pav mainly
he might get played as a key forward
Na cause the word is they are playing an aggressive style. Maybe he only played defensive with stkilda was cause tbet werent good enough to play an aggressive style?
Have to agree with CF on that one. What he said is true.
Pav scores better when he plays in the forward line than the mids anyway
pav put in mid field > playing out of position will hurt his scores
pav put in forward > the forward press and double teaming will hurt his scores
old man is pushing 30 and ross lyon will destroy him.
you can't win ;D
Just like he destroyed riewoldt?
I'd be more worried about the guys like Broughton...
lets face it, with the exception of last year, the saints had
Riewoldt, Goddard, Fisher, Montagna, Hayes, Dal Santo, even Gram who were all averaging at premium levels ( for DT anyway, dunno bout SC)

Nroo destroyed himself
Freo players will still score well. Pav, Sandi, Fyfe, Mundy, Broughton, Barlow...will all score well no matter who coaches...they will still win the ball and use it well!
St.Kilda had Goddard, Fisher, Hayes, Montagna, Dal Santo, Riewoldt...all averaging over 100 pts and in some cases 120+ with Lyon in charge.
If the above Freo players don't score well it will more than likely be for other reasons...
Pav- getting older.
Sandi- injuries...I'm still worried about his foot...lol.
Mundy- handballs
Fyfe- coming back from injury
