Title: porplyzia v rowe
Post by: sliced ham on January 19, 2012, 02:55:59 PM
who has more upside? i would love for porplyzia to turn into a keeper but if he doesnt and he has to be upgraded then rowe would probably make me more money, that is if he finds enough games. any thoughts on who could be a better pickup? at the moment kind of leaning towards rowe or similar rookie just because of his dodgy shoulders.

hard to say until we see him in pre season

As a rookie tall forward there is every chance that Rowe could average less than 50. I'd either go with Porplyzia or find a better rookie i.e. Zorko, Treloar, Pfeiffer.

already have zorko and treloar, pfeiffer i am not sold on. i live in adelaide and really havent heard much about him, probably not a good sign. anyway as i said i guess it will just be a wait til preseason thing, thanks for the insight.

i would go with the porpoise. saw him trainin today and the shoulder took a battering and never missed a step.
spoke to him briefly about it and he says its not a problem anymore.

I'd consider a better rookie like a Walsh, Saad or even a Kerridge.

even if the porpz can stay fit he's never been a good dt scores anyway, i would have defiantly taken him if he was at a rookie price but to save 100k players like trealor, zorko, walsh, smeldts, zorko, saad ect should all ave the same if they play so watch nab 2 c who does and save your money 4 elsewere m8

Yeah. Just because his cheap doesn't mean he really warrants a selection.

I have moire faith in McDonald from GWS.

yeah macdonals deserves your faith porps doesnt  neither will amount to a keeper but one is 100K cheaper and should* make you the money you need to trade him out and upgrade someone else faster. the rooks the other guys listed are all good options tho pfieffer has to be elevated, he should be early tho.

if you were interested in a player that price id make it a rook instead of porps and look at lake and conca preseason they could be really worthwhile.
