l wanted to try to put together a list of clubs that have room to upgrade a rookie to their playing roster, as there are quite a few mature age rookies that look to be AFL ready this season
l'll kick it off with Goldcoast, they were unfortunate enough to have Nathan Krakeour "go home" just after lists were submitted.
So if they list him as having a "long-term injury" (which l believe they can), then they have room to upgrade a rookie. Which would give room to promote someone like Horsely.
ls there a team that you can add to the list.....with a possible upgrade??
I think Essendon have Brent Prismall on the LTI list ? . So this means B.Lee, C.Dell'olio or M.Baguley could play round 1
Another team that has a LTI is geelong.......with menzel, not due back until mid-season
so l'll have a look to see who could be good candidates to be promoted there......will post soon
Geelong didnt pick any mature agers that are rookie listed, and dont have any standout candidates for promotion out of the young guys :-\
