Which one would you choose?
I have Barlow but i'll say Sloane for uniqueness and an easy draw.
Barlow because we know what his scoring potential is. He is definitely the safest option, and the most obvious if he is fit
If you want a trusted scorer, take Hayes. If you want a very unique player, get Sloane and if you want an outright DT gun get Barlow
Hayes is a top bloke & also a form super-premo of his time, but he's gettin' on in his career & might not get back to his best after a pretty bad injury.
Barlow came into the AFL and killed it, we all know that. expect +100 avg. in 2012, but he might miss 4 or 5 matches from soreness.. you don't break a leg like he did & recover to top fitness in a year.
Sloane probably won't ever be a DT gun, unlike the other two he's not a dominant player, maybe in a few years but pass for now.
no, you certainly don't. But in like 20 months? I think he might be close to fully recovered.
Sloane and If I could pick two they would be Sloane and Barlow.
Its easy to see the odd one out of the 3, for me barlow is a lokc and im taking hayes to, wouldnt even think about sloane
I said you could still expect high scores from him & that he'll probably play around 17-18 matches which is fine, just saying he'll probably be more likely to be rested from soreness than some other players.
Barlow is a lock. Sloane is more of a supercoach player. He is a gun onfield but that doesnt always equal dt points

Nice analysis, I agree ;)
sloane could be a good pick, its just very hard to call. has stacked on 4 kilos already to date and sanderson said is training the best out of the group. watch pre season carefully but i think he might still be just one season away from really stepping up to that elite level.
