Title: jordan lewis
Post by: me on December 21, 2011, 02:04:23 AM
who is considering the great man? just about locked in based on his colossal effort in the Prelim against collingwood this year, where he was clearly the most desperate and fearless player out there (kind of a negative in dt respects as he can pick up the odd ko)... but seriously gotta be considered now as he's available as a fwd

going to be very tempted to get him

3 years hovering around a 90 average to start him you would want him to lift to around 100 i dont see that happening, maybee an upgrade target.

Martin and Sideobttom are priced around the same but  have more upside

Should be at his peak this year

Not for me. Franklin should be the Hawk you get in the Fwd line.

Franklin shapes as possibly the easiest pick this year in anyone's side. Unless, he gets himself reported during pre-season.  :-X

yeah buddy is always attractive, but i'm tempted not go with him for the plethora of new and very viable looking f/c options

He did look awesome at times last year but I feel like there is too bigger gulf between his best and worst. However, I am struggling to find forwards to get enthused about so in that regard I will consider him seriously.

Beams, Sidebottom, Fyfe, Robinson, Martin, Cloke, Franklin, Zaharakis, Brown, Nroo

Jvoldt, Watts as well... who both unfortunately got cut :( along with Christensen for midpricers.

now that he is a dpp mid/fwd (according to the fan planner) does he become a dreamteam relevant player? should we have him on our radars?

Between lewis and leigh adams and adams wins by a hair. Just because I was tempted to go adams if he wa a mid only where as id have never considered lewis as a mid only

definantly on the radar and in my team actually he arrived there an hour ago so nice timing on the thread ;D , he edged zaka out with his knee problem getting me worried and his slow start to last season lewis just seemed to be a safer pick

surely you will have to have 3 players in either ur fwd or back line with the same bye as theres very little premos in rd11 or you can fall behind and wait till after byes or pick dodgy players just bcause of the bye rounds
i know what ill be doing, keeping the byes in mind but picking the best players and not have the byes make the final decision

yeah i agree completely, i'm keeping the byes in mind, but not letting them dictate who i select

is it worth having lewis and upgradimg to buddy later in the seasom? or does the hawks draw suggest you should have buddy from the start?

You should start Buddy. Once he gets passed the 2 first rounds he has a pretty good run for 10 weeks (barring maybe 1 or 2 games). The question is do u get him "maybe" cheaper in round 4? I want to start with Lewis but i surely cant have 2 Hawk FWDS.

I have them both

Ive factored in byes so they will be the only premiums sharing a bye

if your talking about not having 2 hawks because of byes, i think its better to see i cant have more than 3, round 11, 12,13 bye players. If your talking about literally not wanting 2 forwards from the same team, lewis is really a mid so its not a problem. The hawks are almost guranteed a top 4 spot and could be the number 1 team i see no problem in loading up on hawks.
