Title: Sam Fisher
Post by: theflyinghawk on November 24, 2011, 12:01:21 AM
Sammy Fisher to play a more rebounding role under a new coach?
its where he plays best IMO and where he has the best value to the saints
one to watch in preseason?

Do you know for a fact that he's playing more rebounding roles or are you speculating. I'll watch everyone in the nab cup but he'd have to perform to dislodge broughton.

Your guess is as good as mine man. I'm not Scotty Watters :P.

i can almost see them swapping roles, broughts pushed into the more defensive role under lyon, the role fish played this year while fish hopefully is released through half back

Yeah true. All we can do is watch the nab.
I know Ross is pretty defensive.

I'm concerned whether Fisher will have the luxury and flexibility to run off his player and get the rebounds now that Dawson and Blake are no longer on the list. This would mean that he has to play more of a shut down roll. Just my early view, will be interesting to see what happens in the nab cup.

Ross is defensive, but that's how the Saints were in two consecutive GFs, due to sheer pressure around the ball

That might get you to GF's, but will it get you DT scores??

Saints re-drafting blake and picking up beau wilkes hopefully lets fish play the rebounding role!
