This is a thread for the best player for each FF member's FTP team. Just thought it would be good to see how everyone's best player is going stat and pop wise rather than looking at each team. There are no requirements for players, just the player that you think is your best player. If you want to be part of it just post your player below with a link and I'll keep updating this post. From then on it is up to you to keep updating us on your own player.

He opens in T20. Also is my 5th bowler. I'm still battling with GS in One Day so I need Joubert's skills there. Will probably open in both next season.

Harrold Brohaska.
In hindsight, Wilfred is probably better. But I'd like to monitor Brohaska's progress in here :P
Thornton is only just ahead of Brohaska, but maybe that's because I see FM as more important than M.

Easier for a f m to make nat. Everyone rates them higher cause they are strike power

Still Outs/Acc, so yes :P. Dang Gifted Bowling -_-. May take me like 3 seasons more to do so!
Maybe it is kenya training for lostwalleti that has confused me on things. Team near bottom wants exceptional from me when there are fm bowler at spectacular
You should be able to cut it back once you get to Spec bowling.
Bowling will take longer while tech will be shorter.

BATSMAN- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=482174

Former U19 NAT- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=571067
All my 20yr olds now have at least Outs/Exp primary's! :)
Some on here may argue that i don't have any good players, but truth is one of them has to be my best. It was a toss up between budden and dorenagama. I went with the bowler because he's younger and leads sod in wickets by about 7, on 32.
Well my best young player is Ryan Bastinac (http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=412297), but best players at the moment are Jules Winnfield (http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=82796) and probably Max Brinkman (http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=92092)
all of my guys suck ::) my best player (or pretty close to) is Boyd :P
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=411930 (http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=411930)

Would you guys say Sheikh is my best player? Or Hemming?
Hard choice for me between these 2 players
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=145455
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=184720
You choose which one you think is better.
I dont think it is really best mainly more attached to. I would say Sheikh personally. Q pull some strings for me and get Lostwalleti into the nat team :P
Alright:
Karari Sheikh
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=631910
I don't have any players worthy of this list.
We cant see your players skills Valk so hard to tell, given it is so late in the season wage doesn't exactly mean much anymore
Pick your best player shags, is heaps easier with a younger player you have had for ages to keep in the group
It is interesting to see the amount of money people have spent on their players in here. Thornton and Brohaska cost a small fortune to get to their respective sides. Good old Lostwalleti cost me 29k to by him as a 20 year old project. And he has turned out just fine imo
I don't have any good players.
Your best player can mean your favourite player. So choose based on that if you aren't sure.
Also, just post one name and link if you want me to put it in the first post.
I don't know who to nominate. Do i nominate Lostwalleti who I have had since he was 20, do i nominate Burton who is close to becoming my first senior nat player, do I nominate Cook because its me. I really am confused
I'm going to leave this up to someone else to decide on.
Pollucksingh - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=82995
Ablett - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=90616
Daicos - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=97519
Carey - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=74311
Pollucksingh is my best skilled player but doesn't perform as often as he should. Daicos does however, but he is still only spec/outs with great secondaries. Ablett is probably my favourite player but is currently being hated by me as he isn't taking many wickets lately while Carey always does well, behind the stumps and with the willow.

oops. I have revealed them now.
I would say percy or Carey shaggy. Carey is fair beast though. Just looking at your side shags probably older than the West Indies Nat side.
For you valk I would say Spanner
Yeah, it is rather old but I don't care about that. I will be keeping them though until the end of my PC run next season. Then I will start replacing them with younger guys.
Can someone now help me with my players?
Cook- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=440260
Burton- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=362014
Gayle- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=280280
Lostwalleti- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=344358
Fortuyn- http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=122543
All of them are young apart from Fortuyn
Good luck with that shags should attract plenty of money for them though. What do you think you can work on with your side to get better match ratings? RB was in the ff the other day asking about his side and I know others would look at where the improvement is needed in their match ratings, so I thought I would ask the best side on FF
my best performance wise is http://fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=496337
has the lowest ratings of all my players but averages dont lie
It has to be easily my bowling ratings. I need stronger bowlers, to get those ratings to 13.5-14k consistantly. And perhaps better batting amongst my bowlers for depth, like poor/ordinary/average each.
a couple of exceptional bowlers or better quality. I was looking shaggy and my bowling ratings are very similar to yours. You kick my arse in batting and fielding which pulls your ratings well ahead.

That was before inflation though cookie ::)
You can't compare buys from back then to now.
He was accomplished/reliable and couldnt field. I bought him as a project player without the thought of him being a star or possible nat
Well at this rate his isn't a NAT and looks like he'll battle to make the side.
I have been given a training plan for him but I dont know why he needs to be exceptional when some kenya players revealed in the nat side are spectacular???? I dont want to train primaries for 20 or so weeks to get him to exceptional/exceptional and be told he isn't good enough for the side when I could have spent those weeks training his power and gotten him a large number of pops. I want to be guranteed of him having a spot in the squad before I fully embark on the exceptional journey
He needs a lot of Endurance. Then his power and a pop or 2 in fielding.
endurance trains easily as does power and fielding is easy. Its the whole issue of bowling and tech to exceptional that has me concerned

Nice Daz. I am practically bot bashing in this game tonight, but Thornton's been a spud. :P
http://fromthepavilion.org/scorecard.htm?gameId=1409207
Winnfield took 1/25 from 5 overs (bowled them out before he got another chance)
36 fantasy points for him.
Thornton took 2/22 from 5 overs.
55 fantasy points.
T. Harding b Wearne 5 3 1 0 166.67
T. Harding (rf) 6.4 0 21 1 3.15 1 0
22 fantasy points.
Looks like most of our guys took it easy last night. :P
I know. Harding usually rips it up :P
Sheikh played SOD so he didn't do that great :P On the other hand Mordt...
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/scorecard.htm?gameId=1430449
Dorenagama took 2 wickets yesterday, 50 something fantasy points.
My guy got 78 points
You should keep a table of how many fantasy points the players get each game :)
If that wouldn't take too much time that is
I will try and get things sorted soon. Playing soccer today, but that's later.
I have a few ideas, but it might be better to start them next season cos there's only 1 more SOD game and that's where most of our players play anyway.
Bat: G. Ablett not out 17 21
Bowl: G. Ablett 10-0-26-2
Fantasy Points: Gary Ablett 88 and 3 votes.
Man of the Match. :D
At least one of the players had a good game.
Yeah a simple table should do it. Each player then has his highest fantasy score entered in the boxes.
I'm getting one sorted with Fantasy scores, MoM votes, Average (bat or bowl), Economy, SR, Runs/Wickets.

I'm attached to so many of them because I've had them for a few seasons now :'(
Blax & Old Greg are my favourites youth wise (Blax will go past 2500 YOD runs if he goes well on Wednesday) then it would be a battle between Bartowski, Sweets, Junior & Willow for my favourite senior.
Sweets is close but I think it has to be one of Junior/Willow.
Going to go with one of my biggest and most successful projects ever, Willow Shagmeister (http://fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=340508). Still has holes (power/exp :-\) but he's much better than he was 3 seasons ago. Nw I'd never spend so much money on such a player, but I don't regret willow one bit :'D

Bryan Crane without doubt has been my best player in any of my teams

i would have rewarded him with a spot in the seniors had he scored 70 not out tonight
however he scored 28 from 17 and his farewell will forever haunt him and my team.....

Well Willow didn't really get a shot tonight, considering he was batting second drop and Field (opening) and Pieris (first drop) both made double tons :P
31 from 14 though, so not really bad I s'pose.
