Title: Big Mummy
Post by: tigertuff on August 30, 2011, 04:38:37 PM
Playing my younger brother in 2 league grand finals this week.

Thinking of using Mummy as captain but can he pull off 3 big ones in a row?

Really want to beat the little showere.

Any thoughts?

Should own Luey being smaller than McEvoy is and the beating Mummy dished him out ;)

Luenberger wins a tonne of hit outs though, that might severely limit Mumfords score.

You will find his recent scores have more to do with his all round performance on the ground.  Yes, he has dominated the hit outs (a lot to advantage), but he has also dominated across the ground in general.

If you think he will have a large influence on the game, he will simply score well.

I am pretty sure I am going with him this week, either him or Boyd against Freo at ES

Given away 5 free kicks, some really sloppy ones. I think they're 6 points each so he could be on another 30 points and a great game. I suppose that's what you buy when you get Mumford, he's so aggressive on the deck that he has games where he's erratic.

and to think we dismissed him when discussing replacement for Sandi because of Brisbanes poor clearances. I will be locking him as well Bear in mind he is only 23 and barring injuries can only get better.

Leuy & Giles & maybe Ivan if he changes club.

Last slot will need to wait for preseason.  NicNat is yet to have a proper preseason, think he might surprise a few.

Hmac will also need some consideration based on magic number, discount and preseason form.
