Title: The Sandilands Downgrade
Post by: PiggyPommy on May 30, 2011, 04:52:02 PM
Sandilands > Vardy = 440k.

Is it then worth doing two trades, probably finishing off most teams then getting Sandilands in for Smith when he gets back?

Many would be considering it this week, here is the topic to discuss the pros and cons of this move.

could be a good move if you have enough trades to bring sandi back in and if you don't already have vardy(like i do).all that extra cash could finish some teams off with no need to downgrade.

I think it all depends on who your 4th Ruck is and what his js is. Cause the fact is none of these cheap Rucks have good Js. and if smith or cox/ whoever goes down you don't want to Rucks on the bench that aren't playing. Plus Sandi could be back in a week or 2. Do you really wanna take the risk?

Yep.

Exactly my thoughts luvfooty.

Vardy played well on the weekend I doubt Mooney will stay in the side for much longer, has been hopeless this season yet to kick a goal. Depends when Ottens is due back though.

For those doing well in the overall this move could be something a bit unique that finishes your team off and leaves you plenty of bench cover for the byes. The only concern being when Sandi returns, how do you get him back in... Or you dont worry about that and keep Smith. Will be interesting to hear peoples thoughts during the week.

i actually went vardy at the start because i read several articles on the cats website that said he would get games this year but would debut towards mid season but as for his long term js i'm not sure.

They dont have good job security but the trade is still a viable option.

Anybody considering doing this? Had a few days to think about your plans for the next few rounds.
