Backline- Pretty good backline, the things that i can see are Bock, i like him as a good unique, and Lake coming back from surgery could be better as an upgrade later in the season.
Midfield- Backs seem a little weak, i like Stanton as a unique depending where hird plays him, but he would be better served as a 3rd midfielder. It is a cash potential midfield however.
Ruck- Great rucks nothing wrong there.
Forward- Didak is struggling in training so may want to reconsider him as an upgrade target as well as Brown. And the rest is good.
Overall i give it an 8.5/10 ;)

soory luigi i had work,
Backline- Very good backline which also has the ability to make you cash
Midfield- Really good midfield my only concern is think you should only go with one pair of players from the same team (Swan and Krakouer or Swallow and Harris) so drop one of Krakouer, Swan, Harris or Swallow.
Ruck- Great forwards nothing wrong with that combo.
Forwards good again but for me same problem as the midfield but this time its NM players and GC players.
Overall 8.5/10 ;)

Backline- Again good backs nice to see Enright in someones team, and finally someone puts Brad Harvey on their bench :)
Midfield- Good midfield a few uniques in there, just make sure Wallis gets games.
Rucks- Good rucks
Forward- Forwardline has a lot of quality, but as i mentioned before watch Didak and Browns preseason.
Overall 9/10 :)
who is brad harvey ???
thanks MTTY i will be watching dids and brown trust me.
Brad Harvey is a short kid from brisbane who ripped it up agt draft camp. one to watch.

Backline- I love the uniqueness of the backs and has the potential to make you money.
Mids- again a bit unique with premiums that i guess you could call them go under the radar with how many people select them in the mids. And i am sure you meant to change this BS but Clarke is injured.
Rucks- Good solid rucks'
Forwards- Very good forward line no problem IMO in having both buddy and Rioli if you dont have chappy.
Overall 9/10
ok.. so ill take clarke out.. any suggestions on who to pick?

go to change team in focus and then select the team you made that one with under the name. ;)
thanks mtty.. im looking at my team and because of the stupid price changes im now over by 7k with only 32 players!! have to do some tweaking to fit some players in
ah crap im gonna start again.. cause i didnt realize there have been price and position changes..

Backs- still very unique in a good way.
Midfield- Again very unique which could pay off.
Ruck- Great rucks.
Forwards- The only thing that worries me is you have 3 sets of players from the same team (Brennan & Prestia, Rioli & Franklin, Sylvia and Tapscott) I would suggest atleast getting rid of a player from one of the pairs if not 2 pairs
overall still a 9/10

Backline- Very good backs with a unique in Everitt, his byes are in a good position if you are going for league win, also the swans have a habbit of turning recylced players into good fantasy players so watch his preseason.
Midfield- Again a good midfield just that Stanton may be a risk in SC as he is better at DT, watch his preseason to see where Hird plays him.
Ruck- Hale isnt much of a fantasy player, and is a huge risk barring that good line.
Forward- Vezpremi could be a risk but i like him as a player thought he should of got more oppurtunities at the Swans, watch his preseason.
Overall 8.5/10

Brendon Goddard c/b, Bryce Gibbs c/b, Brett Deledio c/b, Greg Broughton, Andrejs Everitt, Andy Otten, Ben Jacobs c/b
Michael Coad, Josh Toy, Nicholas Duigan
Dane Swan, Leigh Montagna, Brent Stanton, Nathan Foley, Daniel Harris, David Swallow
Dyson Heppell c/b, Sam Blease, Ian Callinan c/f
Aaron Sandilands, Drew Petrie
Zac Smith, Max Bailey
Nick Riewoldt, Alan Didak c/f, Matthew Pavlich c/f, Jonathan Brown, Ricky Petterd c/f, Chris Knights, Dion Prestia c/f
Brandon Matera, Tendai Mzungu c/f, Cameron Richardson
Backline- Great backs Everitt could be good if he gets games which he should.
Midfield- Good mids, Stants is a better DT player the rest is fine.
Ruck- Good rucks
Forward- Good forwards remember to keep an eye on Didak and Brown
Overall 9/10
thx for the feedback MTTY
No worries mate
On a different subject MTTY,
do u know of any sites that gives you comparisons of players sc and dt scores
na but you could just check here mate on the player profiles
Yeah have been doing that....but l spose l'm just lazy and would like 2 c them side by side...
can u explain the differences in the way tht dt and sc are scored....have never really understood it...but would like to know, it could help with picking teams

Well from what i understand SC is more accurate of how good a player plays, SC takes into account effective and ineffective plays, while DT does not

Hey mate
Backs- Very Very good.
Mids- I actually dont mind your mids have the potential to make you lots of cash and score well.
Rucks- Very good rucks
Forward- Pretty good forwards but watch out for Higgins he gets injured a lot.
Overall 9/10
cheers mate
had Higgins last few years and he burnt me but I guess you have to take risks to get any where.hopefully everyone steers clear and he smokes it but if he breaks down then I guess I'll have to use one of thoes extra trades we get.
thanks again

9/10? You are too kind.
Backs - 2.5/2.5, agreed very good.
Mids - 1.0/2.5, not one of those mids played 22 games of AFL last year and to make good of the bravery of the decision to start like this you will have to burn trades.
Rucks - 2.0/2.5, Redden unlikely to play (think Lobbe of last year and his lack of opportunity given Port talls depth)
Fwds - 2.0/2.5, injury history clouds over Brown and Higgins, exactly what role will Krakoeur play if any, and how will ROK structure into a developing Swans midfield on the back of an up and down year last year where his head was not in the right place.
Lack of left over cash, minus .5 (whilst this may be a harsh penalty, I believe you do need a small nest egg to begin the season)
Total 7/10

yes some have told me i am too kind but for me i don mind the unique mids if they are fit and Redden has been tearing it up on the track and word is he will play ;), we all have different opinions though Roost thats what makes us unique thats what makes me go for Melbourne and you go for Adelaide ;D
What gave it away I go for Adelaide ? ;)
I would love to see Redden step up once given an opportunity, the name Redden is strong at Roosterland - Mick wore # 42 through the success of the 80's at North Adelaide. 8)
That's the beauty of this forum, we all have our free opinion and our input helps crystallise what we are trying to achieve. It would be boring if we were all the same wouldn't it ?
Keep up the good work MTTY ;D

Cheers McRoost and we would all just end up with the same team
l have been really careful with player spreads, with respect to the byes!!
l have gone for 7 GC players (hav to get past round 1 safely!!), with a view to having some cash cows by round 9
mids are risky but l think they have good upside.....l reckon foley, houli and harris will all play and score better than rooks.....will b looking to upgrade heavily in mids over season
salary cap left: $8,500
Brendon Goddard c/b, Bryce Gibbs c/b, Corey Enright, Brett Deledio c/b, Beau Waters, Andy Otten, Dyson Heppell c/b
Michael Coad, Josh Toy, Nicholas Duigan
Dane Swan, Brent Stanton, Bachar Houli, David Swallow, Daniel Harris, Nathan Foley
Ben Jacobs c/b, Shaun Atley, Tendai Mzungu c/f
Aaron Sandilands, Drew Petrie
Zac Smith, Max Bailey
Paul Chapman c/f, Alan Didak c/f, Colin Sylvia c/f, Nick Riewoldt, Jonathan Brown, Chris Knights, Dion Prestia c/f

Good quality backs Waters could improve further with a leadership role.
Ok midfield could make you a lot of cash but if you are going with that structure it is probably better to upgrade Stants to a super premium
Great rucks
Forwards are solid as i have said before just keep an eye out in NAB for Didak and Brown. ;)
Overall 9/10

Great backs with a lot of upside there.
Great mids nothing wrong with that.
Great rucks, make sure Lycett gets games, not too much of a worry though.
Solid forwards just be careful starting 2 rookie forwards and watch Didak closely in NAB
Overall 9/10
personally I find this year an absolute gold mine for players who were hard done by injurys
most of them now have had a full preseason and should go on and perform like they did a couple of years ago. It's just a mock team till we can see there form in the nab cup and if they are on track then you would be crazy to miss out.I don't understand your point about rok.the guy has one bad year carrying an injury for half a year and you right him of.I bet he was in your team a couple of years ago Rooster. Also what's the point of having cash left over, the idea is to make money on players not save money.
