I think Shaggy will pull out the stats again if he doesn't win.. :-X
But CF's top order is really good, MTTY has great bowlers, Warne and O'Reilly for pyro :-\, hawka has a very nicely balanced team... ARGH it's so hard!
RB, think Alex deliberately left out the names so we wouldn't have any bias :)
Assuming we can't vote yet cos the teams aren't done!
num 6 is awesome ::)
nah cfs the best.

They were in there before!
Team 1, without seeing teams 9 and 10, seems the best. Great mix of old and modern, with a stronger emphasis on modern.
Perhaps a little light on batting, but does have a long-tail. But I like the bowling balance. Except two spinners in Murali and Benaud might not be beneficial on some grounds.
See if teams 9 and 10 can beat it! But team 1 for me so far.
Don't know what Team 4 was smoking when they picked Lehmann, let along picking him as VC ahead of Pollock, Hammond, Kallis and Jayasuriya!
No the draft is done but 2 people haven't turned in their teams.
My Team
1.Gary Kirsten
2. Zaheer Abbas
3. Everton Weekes
4. Sachin Tendulkar
5. Greg Chappell
6. Keith Miller
7. Andy Flower
8. Imran Khan
9.Michael Holding
10. Anil Kumble
11. Glenn McGrath

Same reasoning for me.
im voting for team 1. has a good structure and great players.
Wow hardly anyone is voting in this.
I'm sure way more people voted on the soccer draft and other cricket draft!
Advertise it a bit :)
cmonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn people vote, i guess people who arent cricket historians may not vote though due to not knowing half the players picked ::)
sigh im gona finsh 2nd agian ::)
Just realised voting for this started 2 weeks ago!
Does that mean I won? :)
Yeah you won CF, and might I add very deserving, you got my vote and you were easily the best team there.
Your personalised trophy will be up later tonight/tomorrow ;)
Thanks Alex :)
Having first pick certainly made it easier for 2 reasons.
1 - you could pick better people before others
2 - you got 2 picks in a row so didn't need to worry about others stealing your second pick :)
Have to say though that everyone made some great teams from the draft. Looking forward to seeing what everyones teams look like for the bidding draft
