I'm not to going to be to fast to get rid of my Keeper - sort of batter. I started with him, he's ok, but he's the only person in my team who can actually be Captain.

Not really when the tech gap is so large. He would be ideal if he had reliable bowling and outstanding tech... But the other way around doesn't quite work as well Daz.

Still, nice for 14k though. Needs to close the tech gap and secondaries work, by the time that is set he is 26-27.
Title: Re: FTP - What type of players do you need?
Post by: Alex7089 on October 16, 2010, 05:12:13 PM
Will still be good in the mean time.
He should be able to get his tech up in a season or two.

Then secondaries will be going a lot faster (power) and he is in his prime and has high skills  ;D

his already on tech training atm
good thing for him is being a spinner he doesn't really need much power so don't need to worry bout that too much
so after he pops in tech his going to fielding for a pop
then back to tech and hopefully get a endurance pop while on there  ;)

actually after the tech pop then fielding i might throw him onto endurance then back to tech

not really sure

What about endurance? That will be a big thing that he will need, reliable at a minimum.

Actually, power doesn't help finger spinners but it is supposed to help wristys so I wouldn't neglect it completely.

endurance won't need to be at reli - accom until he is like 27-28 until then reasonable or capable should do.

so what u think Ax
i got him on tech  when i get that pop u reckon a fielding then maybe a strength? or endurance or back to tech?
Title: Re: FTP - What type of players do you need?
Post by: Alex7089 on October 16, 2010, 05:38:18 PM
I would have him on tech until he pops to accomplished maybe even expert, then I would put him on some fielding training to ordinary (2 pops) then power to ordinary (1 pop) hen endurance to reasonable (2 pops)

a total of 7 pops which will take a while but by the time that is over he should have expert bowling summary and decent secondaries.
Then I would go back to tech to outstanding then maybe even spectacular but that is getting ahead of myself.
By then he may even pop to spectacular bowling with all that tech training.

I got Medium and Fast medium with Exp/Exp :). Also have these 2 are long term projects for me:
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=420152 (Project Wristy who's currently training fielding to reasonable :)).
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=348114 (This guy suits you perfectly Alex and has 2 bowling talents :D. I got him for 2k but need a fasty :(). Would sell you him but I can keep an eye out for cheap fasties if you want :).

Power is not needed for spinners unless they are all rounders. Don't stres too much about training power soon for them.

Do you want Terp Alex? I can always look for others :). Won't be getting a game for me for a long time. Gifted bowling so can train him on Bowling Tech for a while ;). I've gotten him up to Average fielding it gets more important next season ;). I've sell him to you if you will play him :). Don't mind selling him as long as he is going to a good home where he will play like Heffernan who's become a gun for Daz ;).

Have 2 other project 20 y.o's but are medium and fast medium.
