Cheers LE :)
you are missing a back, a mid and half your forward line ::)
it looks like a good team though
did you steal my ruck line ;)
nah mate my backs and mids are fine. ucks maybe borrowed but sandi smith were always on my radar and daw is an MPP so he was there but i could have borrowed jolly. it was out of jolly, ryder, hille, coxy for second ruck but i figure the peis are the best team there. i have no idea on forward rookies if that is what you are eluding to with me mssing half my forward line. so i picked a couple of expensive rookies to take their place.
thanks for the feedback though mate :)
i mean there is now meant to be 3 benchmen for backs, mids and fwds
oh haha thanks mate i completely forgot. that must be why i have so much money left over :)
i now i have 250 k left over...
Maybe update the team up the top?
Looks good right now. Good mix down back. Midfield looks solid even though missing a benchie. Alot of good midfielders in this draft. Wouldn't be hard to find a cheap one here. Rucks seem great.
Forward line looks good. Brennan changing teams could do him well. Will it change his inconsistent way? Who knows.
Forward rookies..... Keep an eye out for Dixon and Matera of GC. Also Hooper from the Dogs. Maybe even Talia or Butcher. Both should see games next year with retirings. There will be more that pop up.
haha, no worries, it did look a little iffy with the spare money :P
thanks hp i just updated this as you posted :)
yeah tried to get some cheapies down back, got krakour in the mids as he won the sandover medal in the WAFL and he is looking really good :) rucks are lock and leave, and i am taking a punt on brennan i personally hope he goes to carlton or the bulldogs :)
thanks hp :)
Krakouer is in EVERYBODY's team ;D.
haha yeah and rightly so hp :)
I rated yours an 8.
Looks very decent in all areas. Well done mate
brennan and jolly are risky. mids looks weak imo
Very nice team imo... 8/10 I'd watch Brennan pre-season though.
yeah brennan looks good for me if he moves i am ready for his roller coaster. jolly in a very good team i feel as though could thrive. thanks reesbr. rob harvey i am prepared to sacrfice the strength of mids to gun up my other positions.
9/10
Brennan is really the only concern so i`d watch him pre-season. ;)
thanks mate,
i know he is moving so hopefully he can stop his inconcsistent ways :) also he is pretty pricey so i can have anyone else around 380.
looks alot like my team not to sure about the last midfield spot and brennan other then that a good team. 9/10
what do u think of mine
http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,22387.0.html
Howdy LE.
Backs - Agree you need Goddard but maybe look at upgrading to him, not starting with him. This will give you enough coin to spend on one of your bench becoming more startable in the likely hood of Otten starting slowly or Adcock and Grimes getting injured again. 7/10
Mids - Missing one premium, otherwise very nice. 8/10
Rucks - Strong. 9/10
Fwds - Brown and the inconsistent Brennan + rookie element, there's enough strength for 8/10
Overall 8/10 :)....and I did vote!
How much money do you have left after the reconfig you did?
yeah thanks jake-fez. i font really want brennan so i will look for maybe buddy or didak there, my last mid i will have a high draft pick but i am not sure who should go there :) i will rate your team now.
rooster :)
i am thinking of not starting goddsy but i am not sure what gun i should play there instead? i am happy with my rucks.... i like brown i feel as though he is underpriced and i am pretty sure brennan would be going. thanks rooster :)
pretty solid team, improvement can be done but thats good
thanks dylstaaa where are my improvement in your opinion?
i have made some changes and these can be seen up the top :)
Hey LE, on a scale of 1 to 10, how confident are you that Harris will be named as a defender (only named as a mid in Fanplanner).
I have named him in my mid hoping he'll be named MPP and I can slot him in down back.
yeah look i am pretty sure he was a defender before he left so i am hoping he is now :)
i think i would be a 7 :)
Nice team, good use of MPP. i'll be keeping an eye on Brennan too, hes got the potential to rack up lots of points. As for forward benches im unsure as of who to pick as well, besides Matera. :-\
nice team overall 8/10
Strong team.
8/10
thanks guys, i have decided to make some changes :)
(see up top)
nothing there bud :)
SOLID 9/10
only thing i dislike is that you have no one that can be an MPP with Petrie
Also i like the idea of Delidio in the midfield did the same sort of thing but with Hodge
GoodLuck for 2011 ;D
not bad, stacked forward line though :-\ maybe downgrade one of your premiums up front and upgrade houli up back
great, thanks chrisuzz i have majak daw in my forward line soooo..... :)
i expect houli to go on to the draft and have the tigers pick him up. i feel like he will play very well in their young team and he is god value for money. also i satcked my forward line as i had trouble with it this year. by stacking it i am hoping it is a lock and leave :)

rucks

Forwards

Lukas Makovic, Lucas Cook, Majak Daw
thanks guys any thoughts and critisizms welcome :) 90 k left over for improvements...i will rate yours if you rate mine :) also forward benches i have no clue on so they are just there to fill up space :P
Very similar backline to mine by the looks. I like your mids... Would you consider Sam Day at this early stage as a Bench Ruck?
Sam day is wayyy to expensive as a benchie :P
yeah sammy day not for me he looks like jack watts :)
i am cnosidering dropping foley to a rookie like gaff? this would give me another 60 odd k on top of the 90 i already have :) thanks all
LE I agree with that move there. Think u need much better use of the quality miss in this years draft. Hope u can find better mpps then McNeil n Clarke aswell!
Other than that it's a pretty good team
Would also work on your forward rookies, try for lamb, darling, lynch, matera, smelts, or maybe even Callum Wilson instead of one of your premiums
i gave it 8/10
Knights is a no go for me
yeah i am sure can find someone better than clarke and mcneil (conca and heppel?) and yes maybe one rookie will fit :)
Thanks HTM
why popedelio?
Yeh why's that? I think alot of people have knights ready to go
only reason i could think of is injury history?
yeh i recon he could be like a Beau Waters tho
just thought i would give my thread a bump now that the draft is done and dusted, modifications are made on the first post :)
cheers LE :)

Love the look of the update LE, rookies are looking better n premos are deff locks
Couple of minor dramas in Grimes n Houli in your backs, grimes as he maybe a bit rusty n may be put in cotton wool over the most minor bumps n bachar as his position in Richmonds team is uncertain, what with their plethora of young midfield talent + Conca
Also not sure about having two tall rookie fwds, they don't always score that well, wuld be happier with a Lamb, Harper or Matera in there
Hope i helped
Browny ;D
yeah had a look at the draft and i like what i see, thanks mate :)
locking in grimes for the old third year breakout rule (as if he hasnt already) but i think he will be solid considering the demons being in the rebuilding stage and looking to fire up the ladder. not sure on houli he says he wants to go to the tigers and they seem keen on him but we will see i have enough cash to upgrade to a gun ? anny suggestions? symes?
yeah the whole petrie mpp with a rookie is doing my head in. i was wanting to put petrie as a forward maybe for knights?
thanks for your help browny i think i am good but for the premo defender and my last point :)
thanks
9.5. Brennan is on my shortlist, him and ablett should be the go to men for gc.
Great team :)
awesome thanks bomber boy, remember with being the go to man comes the horrible tagg :)

Yeah but Brennan will not cop the number 1 tag ablett will. Is there any chance of Brennan being mpp?
a very strong chance i would say, keep in mind the gc bye round 1 :) i think he is a good pick though he was in my original team but i took him out for browny ;D
Gilbert is a big risk rumors from saints are he will play up forward and isnt likely to score what he did this year.
Adcock is a little risky but will have more options in the role he plays with both Travis Johnstone and Justin Sherman leaving so maybe a great choice
I like 1 if not 2 gold coast defenders youve got Toy, what about 1 more out of iles coad or hunt. They are 84k players
Josh Green on your bench, will he get more than 3 games this year? small forwards include Amon Buchanan, James polkinghorne, Bryce Retzlaff, Todd Banfield and Jarod Polec.
You cant miss out on the Krak, he has the potential to score 150+
Scott Lycett wont play for west coast hes a first year ruckman under dean cox and nicnac
I like your forward line very much atleast 7 the same as mine. Not sure about petrie if hes in your field its as a ruck same with people that pick tipett in there forward line mmp just isnt worth a 50-60 point player
awesome knightmare thanks heaps :)
GIlbert i know is a risk but i couldnt see any other premium backmen worth a look ?
Adcock i am very very happy with i think he will be good :)
i am not sure how GC will go this year. i know toy is a jet and i have only heard posistive things about Jacobs and Richardson and thet will get games throughout the year :)
what are polecs chances of being mpp? i have only heard of him being a midfielder?
scotty lycett could be used as a key forward i think and if he isnt i can swap him for another mpp ruckmen :)
petrie averaged 80 not long ago which would make him an almost premium ruckmen :) i like him and i would prefer to have a lock and leave combo :)
thanks heaps mate :)
That is one thing we need this year, a lock and leave combo. If you had Ryder and Jolly round 1 last year then well done

lock and leave is the way to go, Sandi-Jolly or Sandi-Ryder combo seems to be a great one, better off not wasting trades there like i did this year :-\
"Kraks may have the potential to score 150"??? bullsh!t call, hes not gonna be a lock in the Pies team, he never used to score that big for DT and if he does score that, he will turn round the next week n score a 20
not sure on these rumours of Gilbert playing forward as it only really worked in the 1st GF as the Saints werent rebounding coz of the Pies pressure and Maxwell (the hack) wouldnt man up on him as he was too concerned on double-teaming Roo. Would rather go with Goddard tho LE, u know hes gonna chop, consistent 100s, and be the best DTing Saint
plenty of good scoring MPP backs there aswell LE, recon B.Rawlings will be a great pickup, aswell as Stanton/Gibbs if they get MPP
yep lock and leave wil be better for my heart and that krakz stuff his rubbish haha :)
i already have goddsy i am just looking for another premium back but i am not sure where to go?????
Deledio seems to me to be a safe bet for another premium back if availiable
krakeour, if he plays, is a must have imo. He may shine, or burn, this year. I think he may play very well, but thats just me.
Could do Bomber but I'd just rather a kid
yeah me as well browny. he was never a good dter at AFL level so i will stay away.thinking deledio or gibbs for that back thanks guyz :D
thats a good team LE. i rated it an 8 because i dont really like the forwrd line especially as your bench is potentially three key position players. can you please rate mine
http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,23158.0.html
thankyou
sweet thanks hally.
not set on benches yet they will change leading up to nab cup :)
