EPL Sportal - HillHero13
A-League Sportal - Hellopplz
Official Premier League - CrowsFan

EPL - Virtualsports

ROUND 4 FIXTURE
sukmenob $1.10   vs $4.90    PC Demons
sukmenob is 6th and PC demons is 13th but a score of 128 would mean for a close game but sukmenob has it here
Yoda's Padawan's $1.25   vs $2.10    Skrtel's Turtles
skrtel yet to open his account for the season and yoda has 2 wins, scores of 142 and 130 would make it a bit closer but with the player selection of yoda, he has the better team.
HawkaFC $1.30   vs $1.40    RobsOverAchievers
Rob's team is coming into form with a huge score of 163 (2nd highest for league) would have everyone thinking twice, Hawka on the other hand has been consistant enough to be the 3rd highest scorer last week and i think he will get over the line
The Mighty Ducks $2.50    vs $1.25    benjy251090
2 pre-season favourites here, both on 1 win, similar place on the ladder and scores of 144 for benjy and 98 for the ducks benjy should have this one..
Theyre Supa Frekay $1.70   vs $1.40    Red-Side-Of-Mersey
R.S.O.M had his first loss of the season narrowly losing to Hilly, but should come across the line first for this clash, TSF has been quietly moving avg of 128 and score of 133, could win, but R.S.O.M for me and the bookies, just.
Hilly's Heroic's $1.10   vs $4.95    JosipAndTheSkokos
out of all the games this would have to be the miss-match of the round, Hilly still unbeaten and an avg of of 145 should beat JATS, nut never no with soccer upsets could happen just like that..
Phools 11 $1.40   vs $2.30    ComeOnTheTown FC
With a league high 177 points Phil has been beaten onceand will be looking to keep that loss as 1 after this week, the bookies and myself think the same.
Chelseaaa :) $1.50   vs $1.55    Clam Whackers
close match this one, someone or both is going to get points for the first time, Chelseaaa will get over the line i think this week, although with a score of 91 might dampen his chances..
Poosey Juices $1.75   vs $1.80    __Liverpool FC__
this game here makes it look like there is no other games on, everyone will be focusing on this one, top of the table clash, i think on averages that Poosey juices will get over the line..
Captain America $10.20   vs $1.10    Hello
Big odds here but the bookies don't really think at all Captain America has a chance, Hello WILL open his account for the season..

i take it from the way that you do your odds HH you don't actually make bets? in bets there should be one team under $2 and the other over, unless it is too close to call where they do the odds $1.95 each or something similar.

doing matches where the odds are $1.30 to $1.40 offers no value at all

That's True. CF, I don't think he is legally allowed to bet, at least we have some odds  :)

Have a few injury concerns (Lampard & Campbell) at the moment and a suspension to deal with (Jaaskalainen), again! Lucky it's an international week this weekend as it will give Lamps & Campbell time to recover hopefully.

Mignolet should keep his spot for a while yet, Gordon has TBC on his injury now.

Albrighton is a worry as well, Will Ireland take his spot next gameweek?
and Harewood, will he play next game?

A League Sportal Preview & Odds for Round 5

Breno FC $4.20 vs Yoda's Padawan's $1.25

Looks to be a one sided game with YP having won his last 2 games whilst Breno are still looking for their first win of the season.

YP only have to cover for Beauchamp, whilst Breno will have to rely on his big gun strikers in Ifill, Fowler, and Van Dijk to get him across the line as they have to cover for Cullina, Beauchamp and some other players who have not performed this year.

The Padawan's look to be too strong in this one.

BEN-2006 $1.96 vs benjy251090 $1.94

Battle of the Ben's. Can't split this one. 2nd best match of the round - 2nd v 4th. Give the ever so slight nod to benjy due to the fact that he his higher placed on the ladder and still scored better last week despite having 4 donuts.

benjy will sweating on McFlynn being recalled for Sydney as well Casey for the Fury, whilst BEN will have to cover Cullina and Beauchamp this week, benjy will only have to cover Cullina.

A draw!! Will come down to who is captain on the day.

Ewe FC $2.50 vs Hilly's Heroic's $1.60

HH will be out to improve on his lacklustre score of 44 last week. Despite having two GC players to cover as well as no GK that is playing, and Carwell out HH still has the better team of the two.

The Sheep fans will be hoping that their manager decides to trade in some players this week to cover the 4 players that have not yet taken the park this season

HH should regain some winning form this week.

Hawka FC $2.20 vs BringBackRucka $1.85

Match of the round without a doubt. Overall, 62nd ranked and top of the table Hawka takes on BringBackRucka, who is ranked 10th overall.

A virus was sweeping through the previously ranked number 1 ranked BBR team last week causing them to lose their first game of the season. Where as Hawka continued on his merry way last week knocking off Breno FC to stay atop of the table.

Should be a close encounter here with BBR the slight favourite due to only having to cover for Cullina, although they will be sweating on whether Brosque can be recalled to the team, whilst Hawka will have to cover for Cullina and Beauchamp.

BBR in a close one.

RobsOverAchievers $1.30 vs Adelaide_United_FC $3.80

Despite having a poor round last week, Rob will still head into this round clear favourite over bottom placed Adelaide_United who scored a poultry 36 last week.

Powerman called a press conference early in the week and declared that there were going to be few changes this week, but he has too many non-performing players to be able to get him across the line this week. A culling needs to take place and fast! rob will have to cover for Sterjovski still, but should be ok elsewhere on the park.

Rob should take this one in a cakewalk.

Hello $2.00 vs Angel Darks Box $1.90

Should be a close game here. Both teams have won two games, and are looking to consolidate their position within the Fanatics league.

Both teams will be looking to capitalise on their defences with the Roar playing the Jets again. Both teams have two players from the Roar. Hello will have to cover for two GC players whilst the Angels will have to cover for Cullina and Beauchamp again.

The Angels have a been a quiet achiever this season and they could continue to climb the ladder with a win over Hello, although Hello may provide an upset if the Fury do well against the Heart.

The Angels in a close one.

We forgot Hilly...

I'll do it this week HP

A League Sportal Preview & Odds for Round 6

Breno FC $1.80 vs benjy251090 $2.20

At the beginning of last week, you’d have thought this would have been a one sided game, but then Breno pulled one from the bag to produce the upset of the season and score 156 last week to defeat the Padawan’s comprehensively, whilst benjy lost in a tight one against BEN.

Looking at both squads, both have only one player that plays twice this week, Ifill and Kruse for Breno and benjy respectively, however the big difference is that benjy has 3 Fury players in his squad who will all be having a week off. Trades are on the menu for benjy especially if he wants to be competitive.

Breno will record his second win of the season as he gets his season back on track.

BEN-2006 $1.45 vs Hilly’s Heroics $3.00

BEN continued his good run last week with a nail biting win to sit third on the table, whilst Hilly lost convincingly to the Sheep, a game he should have won.

Both teams only have one player playing twice next week, but Hilly has 3 Fury players who will be sidelined this week, which will require him to trade if he wants to be competitive with BEN.

BEN should win comfortably.

Ewe FC $4.50 vs BringBackRucka $1.15

The Sheep felt like they’d been let out the pen last week after they achieved a great win against Hilly’s Heroics, but this week they come up against BBR who whilst they were outscored by EweFC last week still have to be clear favourites coming into this week.

Both teams have 1 player to cover with the bye this week, but despite outscoring BBR last week, they have 4 players yet to play this year as well. BBR also has 3 players in Ifill, Celeski, and Paston all playing twice this week, whilst Ewe only has one in Broxham.

BBR will round the sheep again and put them back in their place.

Hawka FC $1.65 vs RobsOverAchievers $2.40

Hawka sits atop of the table after knocking off BBR last week, whilst Rob gained only his second win of the season with gripping two point win over Adelaide_United.

Rob is rumoured to be overseas looking for quality players for the Melbourne Heart, so will he be able to maintain the level he began with, so we’ll see if his side is good enough to keep up the level he was said to be at before the season began.

Both teams have four players playing twice this week, and neither has to cover for any Fury players, so it will come down to the quality of their squads plus who they nominate as captain.

On that note, Hawka looks to have the slight edge over Rob in this one.

Yoda’s Padawan’s $1.90 vs Hello $2.00

Both teams will be looking to bounce back after their defeats from last week. YP lost to a rejuvenated Breno, whilst Hello lost to one of the favourites in Angel Darks Box.

Both teams have two players playing twice this week in Bertos and Ifill for YP, and Sigmund and Leijer for Hello, however Hello has to cover for two Fury players whilst YP only has one. Both teams have been bantering re trading this week, thus I think it will come down to trades and captain choice this week.

I think YP will get across the line, just!

Adelaide_United_FC $5.50 vs Angel Darks Box $1.10

A very one-sided game looms here, with ADB ranked 25th overall, whilst Adelaide Utd ranked in the 3000’s. United declared a couple of weeks ago that they needed to do a cleanup in order to gain their first win for the season, that is still happening, whilst the Angels are going along very smoothly and are sitting 2nd on the table after a comfortable win against Hello last week.

Interesting to note is that United have 3 players playing twice this week, whilst the Angels don’t have anyone. However, the class of the Angels all round team clearly see them favourites over United in this one.

Despite currently not having players playing twice this week, Angel Darks Box should clearly win this one by a country mile.

Yes, well he plays twice this week and both are at home, therefore I think he will rise because of that :) The other I bought in is a risk, but it is Djite from the Gold Coast. He's been signed to replace Smeltz, so hopefully he can do the job :)

Not counting the chickens as yet, but looking fairly good to cause an upset here, mainly thanks to GC beating Perth Glory, and my choice in Muscat as captain... But Hernandez could change that against Wellington though. (i know i'm 19 down at the moment, obviously banking on another clean sheet from Muscat could see me fall over the line.  ;D
