As for me,
Goddard, Swan, Sandi, Chappy, GAJ, Cox, Pav, Joey
no way chappy, too old
swan, goddard liam anthony for sure, grimesy riewoldt, knight, otten(of the andy variety)
petrie and possibly beams/wellingham
Jack, Petrie, Cloke and Frawley
Luke Hodge: If the injury ain't that bad which it shouldn't be.
Paul Chapman
Gary Ablett Jnr.
David Swallow
Arron Sandilands
Dean Cox (Maybe)
Michael Rischitelli
Kepler Bradley
Andrew Swallow
Brent Harvey
Greg Broughton
(And whoever plays good in the Pre-Season)
ooh yes defently dswallow but dragon force, kepler? hehe what a joke
how about x.clarke i know it sounds stupid but look into it for bench cover

Lol. I know, I know. But even though he doesnt provale o a high standard, he's kinda a back up for Sandilands and, well, he's provaled for me so many times, and he's got Finals, Pre-Season to get better and learn from Sandi.
hmm but thats like saying adam mcphee can learn from jobe watson and improve in preseason, not neccessarily going to happen
i next year i have a naughty structure that even m0nty himself would look upon with pride, (not including bench players)
backs 4 premiums 1 mid pricer 1 return form injury youngster 1 rookie
2 permiums one 350000 3 rookies
1 premium 1 mid pricer
4 premiums 3 mid pricers
good structure?
going to remain open minded about it, depending on preseasons and niggles but all the cores above r great
Hodge and Goddard in the backline.
Swan, Jack and Beams in the Mids
Sandi and I will toss a coin between Cox and Jolly (for his durability) in the rucks.
Reiwoldt, Pav and Dangerfield in the forwards.
Im really going to look at the MPP in depth next year. I tought it had saved me this year when Pav went down i swung Chappy into the forwards and played Scully. That was until ROK went down and i lost by 19 points.
The other thing I will look at is players that tend to play every game or close to every game.
although the mpp poses numerous problems, for instance it only is valuable in non midfield areas because it is a waste of space because if you have rok in the midfield you cannot have a n extra player of a higher dt skill level that is only available in the midfeild.
dangerfeild burnt me so bad this year, he is likely to be a great football player but only an ok dter
crap, forgot about andy otten. andy otten will be a definite lock in my team next year. also, dangerfield, the voldt, frawley and kieran jack. can't think of others :)
I agree the MPP does pose other problems but I suspect that we will see alot of other players becoming MPP players next year.
Yeah Dangerfield burnt everone this year but I feel as he gets older and builds a bigger tank we will see him in the midfield.
pretty sure you guys are missing out on a big one here.....
pendles is my 2011 lock-in by a long way

I agree!
Pendles is better in SC, limited potential in DT I think.
Check here for some topics started a few weeks ago http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/board,41.0.html.
My locks already is Boyd :-*, Swallows, Sandi and Ryder or Hmac combo for the rucks.
what about grimesy and broughton in defence next year?
Broughton is on my radar. Will have to see how he is priced though. anything below 400k would mean a maybe for me. Grimes looks tempting but is he durable enough? Hopefully he is and plays a tagging role so he can follow the ball :P.
i think you'ld better look at MPP next year or it could all go to hell very easily
just waiting on the rules atm

Same!!! Had traded in SYmes a few weeks ago when Bock was injured and has been a beauty 8). If Adelaide can improve, he should as well :D.
I had Cale in this pre season before his injury :'(. Ball magnet and has good support to be able to avoid the tag and be able to go about his business. Hopefully his non-physical game is enough for now :P.

Yep, I had Symes preseason and went Gram over Symes when they both got fit. Morton was carving it up a few years back too.
with goodwin bock and mcleod not playing for the mighty adelaide devils anymore they will have to be replaced, but by whom, andy otten, symes?
Otten should regain a place straight back from injury. Likely on a half back Flank.
Reckon 1 or 2 rookies will feature in their squad next year consistently. Might look at if they draft any midfielders.
but gc will steal all of the goodies

good players, yes, not necessarily good DT/SC players
goddard, grimes, swan, anthony, petrie, N.Roo, symes
GAJ, Pendles, D.Swallow, H. Bennell, Grimes, J. Brown, A. Gaff, N. Riewoldt, Sandi

You can always find gems later in the draft. Look at past drafts and you'll see a heap of bargains chosen at 30+ picks.

ben nason for one
liam anthony? gary ablett?
presti for bench cover? will be cheaper than rookies (but i guess he won't make any cash with the crap scores he posts)
yeah i considered presti but decided i may as well get a rookie that will get up to 250 k then sell him and upgrade someoen else. plus presti has an average of about 27 so most rookies will out score that anyway :P

i picked him this year for this reason. so much upside. after a slow first month he has been a star!
hopefully they shall have some rookies that have mmp inn the mids yayayay

Could be a nice 10th back :P. I'll be looking at him if there is slim picking down back for rookies next year.
presti will be like the gumbleton of the forwards, not there to make cash, just there in case you need him
I recently made a 2011 dreamteam blog http://2011dreamteamblog.wordpress.com/ ;D

i would guess he would he has missed a lot of footy this year!
yeah hamish hartlett could be good but i will give him a miss ( he is priced at about 300 k and he will get a very good discount) the problem is he is only a midfielder and my mids are set (except for palmer hartlett could have palmers spot?!?!). any port fans know what the chances of him being MPP are?
I will be interested to see if Delidio or Gibbs will be dual position players next year, spent a lot of time down back this year. I will pick at least one of them if they are.
Joel Selwood is a lock for me, a straight up gun. A if Gary goes his disposals will go up.
I am thinking a lot of people will go Chappy and regret it. 32 long history of injuries. A great player but I am not risking it.
only missed 1 game this year from memory so could be alright, especially with the byes
actually yeah could be worth a serious look. would he get a serious tag when ablett leaves?

Brilliant point, with byes we could pick up players like Chappy who are prone to soft tissue injury or old and need a rest. Kerr is another one that springs to mind if anyone is daring enough.
