Title: Round 18 trades
Post by: tkringle on July 18, 2019, 08:56:14 AM
Who are people looking at for their Coniglio trade?

I’ve got $552,800 to play with and shortened the list down to Duncan, JPK and Zerrett.

Can Zerrett match the other two from here? Would be handy to still have 50k in the bank for dealing with any other LTI’s that come up. He has a pretty good run home as well with the bombers in the hunt for finals..

I'm playing Stack @ M7 and one of Duursma/D Clarke/Hind @ M8 currently. DEF, RUCK and FWD lines are complete but have no cover. $60k ITB, 3 trades rem., ~900th overall.

Is it worth me trading Stack and someone like Logue/Begley to a genuine mid gun like Sloane/Treloar and a bottom dollar guy who gets named? Or hold fire?

Cheers

So i need to trade Coniglio but i can afford anyone out of these players:

Zorko
Bont
Yeo
Treloar
Merrett

It out of these 5 for me!

I like Treloar but he needs 40 disposals to go 120!

Zorko and Yeo could finish home strong!

I want Bont but his ankle injury is concerning me!

Thought on these 5?

I’m thinking Duncan over Merrett or spend a little more $$ and go Shuey or Zorko.

Could Taranto be a good option with potential increased Mid responsibility and time?

Think they'll bring in a Caldwell or Hately for Cogs, but I think Toby Greene will be the beneficiary for the midfield minutes.

Does this make Greene worthy of consideration?

I was really keen on bont but that ankle and even the possibility of libba being back could play a part aswell, might even play but moved to the forward line

Backs: Williams, Lloyd, Hurn, Whitfield, Laird, Crisp (Logue, Gardner)

Mid: Macrae, Cripps, Neale, Oliver, Crouch, Merrett, Fyfe, Clarke (Hately, Hayes, Scott)

Ruck: Grundy, Gawn

Fwd: Dunkley, Marshall, Dangerfield, Boak, Kelly, Heeney (Chol, Young)

10 trades left.

All lines complete with best players in each position. Only 1 mid upgrade left which will be Bont/Sloane/Kelly

Thinking of doing Hayes to either Hill or K Dunkley to get a little bit of cash gen. Would this be worth it?

Thanks $100k in the kitty.
Will be doing Logue to Birchall next week if he gets through alright to keep at D7.

Then Hately to a rookie to upgrade Clarke to one of Kelly/Bont/Sloane.

Should have about 7 trades left for injuries or to bring someone to cover the lines

I have 6 trades left, 37k in the bank and I'm ranked 943 overall

Def - Lloyd, hurn, Williams, Ryan, rich, Sicily
Mid - MacRae, FYFE, cripps, Neale, Oliver, Sloane, Cunnington, STACK
Ruck - Grawndy
Fwd - Danger, Dunkley, Boak, Marshall, Kelly, Jcameron

Should I trade Fyfe and Stack to try and climb the rankings? Or is it too little too late? I could get like Treloar/Shuey/Yeo and MCrouch/Zerrett/JPK

Thoughts on Conigs to Whitfield via Answorth next week?

It would leave me with Logue as my D7 cover

Wow at having 10 trades with only 1 upgrade left. How have you managed that?

Assuming you started with ~12 premiums, it would take a minimum 18 trades doing "one up, one down" just to get to 21 premiums.

You must've almost avoided any need for injury trades, underperforming premium trades and early season rookie corrections.

5 trades left

is it worthwhile culling a mid rookie (hind- 218k) for someone like noble or hill to allow me to trade in neale or zorko for coniglio?

or should i trade in yeo or shuey for coniglio and keep a trade?

If you've got no upgrades to do you could do the 2 trades. Still 2 weeks before finals. 3 trades should be enough to see you through. But can't go wrong with the 1 trade option either. Like the Shuey and Yeo picks

Have Walsh in the mids and Setters in the fwds.  Have exactly $0 in the bank, 6 trades. Thinking of 1 cash trade being hately to hill for the $100k.
given who Carlton are playing, hold both Walsh and setters for another week and then settlers to Robinson. I can’t get any other half decent opportunity for that cash apart from “the
Playing for 5th spot in a cash league.

Hurn to Salem? Saves a 0 and wins me a few matches. Hurn at 30+ listed as out with a calf. Precutionary or will he miss more?
