Bye rounds done, so it might be a bit tougher to find that guy to chuck the C on now. West Coast play pretty early in the round (Bines), Pies and Demons both play late and Pies play at the same time (basically) as popular loophole options Sweet and Gardner.
As for actually picking guys to VC/C outside of the ruckmen, Nat Fyfe has a nice home fixture against Carlton if you can wait until the last game of the round. Dangerfield at home vs Crows is a tasty option. Will Josh Kelly get the Dylan Clarke tag? Lachie Neale might dominate Melbourne, Port vs Dogs looks awesome for both Boak and Macrae. Rowan Marshall vs a ruck-less Richmond also a very enticing option on the Sunday.
Who are you going with? Discuss below :)
Might go out a limb here...
Grundy into Gawn
Unless Robbie Young gets a recall the I lose my loophole option haha :P
Both Gawn and Grundy are up against decent ruck opposition this week in Stef and Goldy so it might be the first week I have to pass on both of them. Thinking Danger into Macrae at this stage.

Gawn's last 5 scores:
144, 149, 158, 153 (vs Grundy), 151
Marshall just scored 119 vs Stef last week.
Surely you can't pass up on Gawn as a safe C option.
Gawns 5rd avg is hard to ignore. I think Martin will be no trouble for him.
Danger into Gawn at this stage.
danger into somebody like Lloyd, Macrae, Fyfe or Cripps
Lloyd vs suns looks juicy

Yeah you're probably right, the C keeps moving from Gawn to Macrae, hoping Danger goes large and we don't have to worry about it!
A risky Conigs into a safer Gawn.

+1
Watching closely with a Barossa GSM
Coniglio into Grundy me thinks.
Yep, after more research I'm off the rucks this week, Danger into Macrae.
surprised nobody looking at Lloyd vs gc

Hasn't scored great against them in the past, and you have to think others have a better chance of putting up a huge score compared to him
Grawndy, if it aint broke don't fix it.
Bines, Burgess, Scott & Gardner are my likely loophole options, which rules out Grundy into Gawn sadly (unless Bewley is dropped)
It will have to be Danger into Gawn (although will go Josh Kelly into Gawn if Dylan Clarke is dropped)

Loopholes may be my problem this week.
Bines, Gardner and Hayden won't be possible for Grundy into Gawn and I'm probably trading Young out.
Might have to do Danger into Gawn.
Danger's record v Adelaide is extraordinary.
everyone going grundy
he has 90 avg vs north has never gone over 115 vs them

Why single out Grundy? Gawn's career record against Brisbane is 66, 67, 105, 56, 78, 97 - so worse than Grundy v North.
J.Kelly for me. 5 game ave is 130. Good av against Bombers. Into???
Jkelly into gawn/grundy

I can't decide either Dolan. I like the idea of a GWS VC but I also like Danger VC but got cold feet atm on Gawn C. Obviously the GWS VC getting the job done & Bines C would be nice.
Will Kelly get the Clarke tag? Did a half decent job against Gaff last week and shut down Cripps before that. Tempted with Kelly, but don't think I can go him over Danger VC.
Danger loves crows and avg 140+ so danger into gawn/neale.

Was Clarke actually tagging Gaff last week? I noticed Clarke lining up against Shuey on several occasions, who dominated.

Definitely wasn't a hard tag, but he was lining up against someone at centre bounces, doubt he could run with anyone on a wing though and I think Kelly spends half his time on the wing.

Yep Danger looks a good VC crowls but I want to go a VC in the GWS game & for some reason I don't trust Danger as C. The Dramafield effect.

No tag really and was lining up on Sheed and sometimes Shuey at stoppages

I think Clarke will go to Cogs, who's not as quick as Kelly, and based on his tag on Cripps and JOM in that they are more in and under.
Fyfe to cop the Curnow tag?
not 100% on gawn if danger fails. tough week!

With Danger failing I'm looking at alternatives. Gawn doesn't have a great record against Martin and Grundy is only average by his standards against Goldy. (Although he is in rare form). With Cripps out, I'm thinking Fyfe might have an absolute field day. The only concern being the Curnow tag!
Safe option would be Grundy.
If you have the minerals, Fyfe could be a great option.
Out of Macrae, Dunkley and Fyfe for me. Last starts against their opponents were Macrae 147, Dunkley 147 and Fyfe 154.
I don't have Fyfe but for everyone that does he seems like the easy choice vs a Crippsless Blues
The rucks don't have great records vs their respective opponents this week, but records are made to be broken I guess
Tough choice for the C now :-\

You have to at least consider their history vs their opponents
Grundy hasn't scored big vs Goldy ever, and Gawn hasn't gone big on Stef either
I'm still leaning towards Gawn C, but it's not as straight forward as usual this week imo

Both rucks can have off days but rarely do they both bomb in the same round, in fact it's only happened once this year. I threw out the history books a long time ago, when you're talking about a 30 point difference between the second & third ruck you can generally act with confidence.

Ahh ok, I didn’t think Curnow was tagging last year
Does a Libbaless dogs increase the appeal of Macrae for anyone......?
I’m tossing up between Fyfe, Macrae and Neale.
I can't decide out of Gawn and Macrae.
I feel like Gawn is the safer option though if Marsha could score 119 against Brissy last week.
My opponent went Macrae. Gawn or Fyfe for me. Probably Gawn to be safe I reckon.
Had the C on Gawn but decided to match my opponent just to ensure I get the win so went Grundy C
Happy with that
Not sure if I stuffed up my loophole this week. Got Grundy and happy to take him. I made young C in the forward line with billings and burgess on the bench, both have the E. As burgess didn’t play I will get billings’s score?
I think it will work but can someone please confirm?

Captain Gawn
Milera out along with Cripps
Double downgrade this week
And still have spuds like BSmith and Angus running around
I still scored 2,313 despite captaining Gawn.
Went up 97 spots to 1,136 overall and won 9\10 leagues including my cashie by 7 points.
All in all not the end of the world.
