Who will be VC/C this week?
Guessing most with Dusty will VC him. For others it may not be as straight forward with Titch and Danger last game of the round.
I’m thinking Gawn into Titch/Danger
Kelly into Titch for me.
Grape permacaptain
Zzzzzzzorko
Martin into Titch every week until I get Danger/its not possible.
I sat Danger on the pine for a reason.
Dusty -> Danger.
Reckon Fyfe will bounce back after copping Ebert the super stopper so it's either him or Cripps for VC into Mitchell
Dusty into Titch again.
Goldy into Danger
Gawn into Titch

Gawn/Goldy into Titch/Danger really hope my VC gets 120 plus as I do not like to play two-up on C in last game of the round.
Probably Titch because he will get 30+ possessions on a bad day.
Kelly into Danger for me
Dusty/Danger for the rest of the season
Dusty into Kelly I think for me
May go Buddy into Gazz just to be different.
I have some serious catching up to do so thinking of going Zorko into Titch on the hope that Zorko bounces back with a 150+
Probably Walters into Titch/Danger for me
Anyone before Sunday into Dangerfield but they'll need to go above 130 for me to take it. Danger 150+ incoming.
Dusty into Titch. Not getting too cute with it this year

I wouldn't have thought so, pretty sure he's untaggable. Scott also said that even if you do put work into him, you might reduce him to 40 possies, not 10-15.

not really, unless he gets in to the bottom of the packs, mitch will get 30+ instead of 50 plus and score 100-110. I can live with that. Just not likely to have him as C. Will have Danger.
Yeah i wouldn't be touching Titch this week. Had his worst score on the cats in this matchup last year and you can expect scott to put extra work into him after all the hype surrounding him this week. Plus Scott doesnt let too many run free at the best of times.
Cant go wrong with Danger in a comeback in this game, with Kelly against the Pies or the stock standard Dusty/Gawn as VC.
Fyfe VC, Titch the tentative C but I'll be tempted by a Danger move that's for sure. I'm banking on the Crows to do a number on Dusty.

Coniglio into Dangerfield
Old mate Buckley will do us a solid and let the GWS mids roam free.
Dusty into Fyfe or Coniglio I am thinking.
Who do Adelaide use as a lock down mid that can run with Dusty?
We don't have a viable tagging option IMO so can see Fyfe having a much better game than round 1.

Could be Langford, feel he's the right athletic type for tagging even though I'd prefer not to see him as one.
Let's be honest, teams barely tag these days. Might be bit of a run with role here or there when someone gets off the leash but a tight tag is rare

No, but there will be a pre-game brawl with him being in the middle of it, if the Crows forward line have to walk across the centre square to get to their positions. There will be players just nudging and bumping the entire game, just constantly trying to unsettle him. I'd be disappointed in them if they didn't try it.

Really Ebert done a job on Fyfe , Steele shut down Zorko , Jacobs is back tagging he shut down Lyons I think tagging is on the increase and we will see a lot this year and I expect someone to go to Dusty , Mitchell to get heaps of attention after 54 and Graham to go to Sloane as he did a good job on him in GF

I am going with cripps as vc, as i think he could dominate against the suns.
For captain should i take neale or zorko? I currently went with Zorko since he has the highest ceiling but if he gets a hard tag again he could struggle.

Wouldn't touch Zorko after last week.
I'd say he'll want a solid 110 in his return, but not much more. When you're a quality player like he is, a shocker like Saturday will hurt your confidence.
I think people have forgotten how much of a pain in the ass Jacobs is because we’ve had the pleasure of him being out of the game for the best part of two years. He will be a factor this year 100%.

Demons do not tag and Zorkos last 3 against them have been 115,120 & 145. Doubt Zorko will also have only a 21.4% Disposal efficiency this week.

Do you think Gibbs is eating into Sloane or Crouch's scores?
Every team's gotta have a few midfielders at least who get a ton of the pill, so I don't see it as much of a problem. Plus, Crouch and Sloane typically spend a lot of time onball, whilst Gibbs is more flexible in that he can hold a position. Sloane will have his stinkers and pig games, depending on the weather, and Crouch would get 30+ disposals if he had every midfielder in the comp on his team, so I'm not worried. Crouch is a rock solid M3 for me atm, and Sloane will have a similar output to last year.

Whilst I strongly believe Geelong will try curb Titch's influence, there's only so much you can do. He will still get 30 touches and 15 contested you'd suspect. Guthrie by no means a terrible run-with player, but Titch is an inside machine.
Cripps certainly not a bad shout. I see risk in him being relatively unproven and all, but I suppose that risk is eliminated with the loophole.
If you think Sam Gibson can lay a finger on Dusty, you're sadly mistaken :P

30 touches with close attention is more like a 105-115 score for Titch.
He needs 35+ to go big imo.
I also feel I'll be punished for going Titch over Danger when Merrett got injured. Lol.
Who goes to Dusty if not Gibson or Douglas? Which reminds me its actually Douglas' fault I left Danger out!
It is my personal belief than Nicholas Naitanui will outperform his competitors in the upcoming contest with the Western Bulldogs and as such would not be the worst choice for those seeking a left-field choice to captain their Supercoach team for this particular round.

Certainly will be good this week after being good last week, but there's a risk he will miss games (ok if you have English R3) and have his game time severely managed (like last week).

Nah no chance mate, still plenty of points on offer. Crouch had 41 touches last week, if he had less clangers and more CP he would've gone 120+. Yes Gibbs kicks goals and scores well but still plenty of points for them all to do well. Wouldn't surprise if Sloaney on his home deck tonight pulled a 140+

Do Adelaide have anyone to play that role on him though? Sure as hell won't be Sloane, Crouch or Gibbs but I'm sure they will have someone in mind. Weather it's effective or not will be another question
No, but there will be a pre-game brawl with him being in the middle of it, if the Crows forward line have to walk across the centre square to get to their positions. There will be players just nudging and bumping the entire game, just constantly trying to unsettle him. I'd be disappointed in them if they didn't try it.
I didn't get to watch the game, but I'm assuming I got this 100% wrong? :-[ Oh well my loss :P Fyfe and Danger better show up!
This made my not VC dusty... Can we do a VC/C POLL next time for the RD3 Captains post?
Hoping Kelly snags 161 against pies.
Did you VC anyone else in that game of have you still got two shots at it?
I was pretty confident Dusty was going to go sub 120 this week, he smashed his best at AAMi despite being in a losing side.

The guy's just insane, incredible to watch in real life, massive regret not starting him.
Also, didn't know we were still at AAMI :P

Think I might just have to bring him in next week, have gone over a few possibilities.
Bont > Dusty
Fyfe > Dusty
Hibberd > Dusty
Hibberd > Bonner, Armitage > Dusty
A few options up the sleeve, will also see what English is doing.

Yep could be get him next week or cough up 3 trades later his B/E this week was 80 and he smashed 160 so guessing B/E next week won't be that high

Dusty's BE will be around the 80-85 mark, so if he goes big again he jump up another 30k+

Haha, I feel ya mate. The 64 people ahead of me largely would have had Dusty VC. I went with Fyfe into Titch.
Strongly considering manufacturing a way to bring in Dangerfield in order to have a potentially huge capt score still
Was hoping for a bit more from Goldy. What do we reckon, take 120 or run with...
Titch - will get attention from someone
Gawn - doesnt historically score well against Stef/Brissie
Neale - safe for 100 you'd think, with chance to go big
Fyfe - to bounce back after last week
Or GAJ - with Danger back sharing midfield minutes

123 scaled, that's only 37 shy of Dusty. If Danger kills it then so be it, not up for too many risks after last week.

I'm greedy, so not satisfied with Goldy's 123! Especially because I poo pooed Dusty as VC! >:(
I'm going all in with either Cripps or Fyfe! :-\
Same, or happy with Goldie’s score, chcucking the C on Kelly, surely bucks wouldn’t have a tag on him looking at how the hawkers got a free run last week
I have the Goldy 120 also....
Thinking of backing Titch in though purely because even if he has an off day he will still tonne up.... but he very likely will go 140+

neale, fyfe or zorko captain tonight???
All of these guys could have big nights
I have got the v on Fyfe tonight if it helps.
should i take the gamble on zorko. He had a disappointing rd 1 so i think he could go huge.
I have decided to put the C on Fyfe. Going to back him in over Titch as I think Geelong will pay him a lot of attention.
I predict 120 for Titch and 140+ for Fyfey
So Kelly got 110ish, should I take it? Missed 50 points not going VC dusty. Or roll the dice on Fyfe? Had him round 1 for his 75 so the gun isn't in me good books.

i have also debated whether to take Fyfes 120 or rely on Titchell to beat. 120 is a on the borderline for acceptance and as they say a bird in the hand so backing it in. Titchell only averaged 118 last year so with Geelong possibly putting some work into him he may get lower than 120 as well.

Going back and forth on this one. Danger with higher ceiling. Mitchell likely to score 100+ with a min of 30 possessions. also what is risk of Danger's hammy not being right. Remember last year getting Fyfe 63 as captain.
No Guts no Glory this early in the season. Danger smashes 170 and we get another 2400+ score. GO DANGER

GO DANGER
Yeah, if ur worried about him hammy you shouldnt have him :P back him in for a 150 i reckon

With Duncan out does this mean more mid time for Dangerfield?

Don't think it effects him. Danger will likely be rotating forward with Ablett/Menegola.
Probably means more mid time for Guthrie, Blicavs, Kelly etc. though.

Gawn up against Steph...no sir I don't like it.
Not sure why, just gotta hope there's plenty of ball-ups.
Last 3 games for Gawn against Lions: 105, 56 and 78.
84, 83, 77
They're Buddy's last 3 scores vs West Coast.
Means nothing!
Yep, means nothing. ;)
