Obviously Danger gets the C in the 2nd last game of the round vs Essendon, but being first week of SC finals getting the VC right could be the difference between winning and losing your final!
Who are you giving the VC to?
I've got no idea yet!
I know Danger into Neale/Priddis is an option, but left that option out as I expect everyone would go before Danger with the VC
No idea as well!
might have to roll a dice tbh
Was thinking of Pendles against Tiges on a Friday night as VC, but he doesn't have an impressive record against them, career highest is only 132.
Sloane v Brisbane at home could be an option, went 149 on them last year and 69 in a half before being subbed out.
Pendles and D.Martin are my only VC options due to my 0 scoring bench players
all being Richmond/Collingwood/Melbourne/Hawthorn.
So I will go Pendles VC into Danger.
If I had the option to go anyone though Id go Sloan into Danger.
I will be going Stefan Martin VC against no crows ruckman and coming of a rest. Anyone thinking 150? He killed trengrove at AO earlier in the year? This is a long as smith gets dropped
Danger into Grimley
Actually just realised can't go Sloaney VC as also don't have a loophole on the Sunday :-[
JPK in hot form for me

Danger into Grimley
*face palm*
Hanners/Pendles into Danger may work better

That's why I am highly considering Treloar into Danger. Especially seeing as non of my opponents have him,
Pendles against my hapless Tiges no surer thing
Looked at Gawn, but against Hawthorn not so sure. Just like the fact when he goes big it is big!.. Could be the winning edge.
VC Pendle into C Sloane. They're chasing %%% and they will feast on the Lions just like the Dons.
I can see Danger getting a rest.
Pendles, Sloaney and Danger all in the mix. Would lock JPK if I had him.
Hanners into Danger for me, also looking at Pendles, Buddy, Shaw, and Dusty.
Can't VC Rocky or Sloaney :'(
I don't think any of the guns will get rested with % all important. I'd love to do Sloane into Danger but I'm the same, won't have the loophole.
So it's either Pendles/Hanners into Danger.
The biggest decision this week is if your VC gets 130-140, do you loophole, knowing Danger could feast on Essendon? Could be a massive call. I know a week I loopholed Danger before Shaw (my original C) and he went on to score 203. Wonder if that will happen again?
I dunno if Danger will really dominate.
Could be a game he just goes through the motion with

Tag? Craig Bird might follow him around.
Potentially FTC.
Just had a look, he only played 82 minutes last time these two teams met so seemed as if he was managed.
Funnily enough, Jelly only played 80 minutes the last time these two met also back in Round 4.
In most games they've played this year, they've both been up around 95-120 minutes each.
Wouldn't surprise me if they get given a rest looking at that. Or play low tog % and just do enough to get the easy win
JPK into danger for me. Will take a 130 plus from JPK

Sit at FF and kick 8 wouldn't be too bad either 8)
Hopeful there is no rest as I am down to no Mid cover with Libba going down and Kerridge at M8
(RIP)

worried Danger gets a rest vs Essendon :-X

No chance! 8)
friday night is my only option. might go dusty for something different.
but lets be honest, who ever you pick would have to score at least 140 to be considered.
Pendles/Danger
Unless Danger gets rested... and then Jelwood gets the C
::)
Thinking P Cripps into Dangerfield or going right, right, right out on a limb and going Shaw into Cripps. Worried that Danger could be time managed v Essendon even though they want percentage. Think it very likely that he and Selwood will be played as previous Rd. v Ess. :-\ Perhaps even go Danger VC in to Mundy :-\
Was initially set on Pendles, but it looks like one of my league games, which is a qualifying final will have only two points of difference. Might have to go something slightly more exotic.
Does anyone see Franklin putting in a big score at any point this season? Sources tell me that Port are lacking a few first choice key defenders these days...
I'm thinking danger will play but spend a lot of time up forward with Scooter coming into the side. Another experienced big body to go into the middle to release danger and Jelwood a bit.
Still have no idea who I'm gonna choose as VC.
Leaning towards Pendles now. Think he might go big tonight.
Dusty doesn't even get a mention, wonder why that is?
Torn between Pendles and Dusty as VC.
Going with Shaw as VC now, because tbh a 200+ is the only thing I might take, and I can't loophole Rocky ;D
Shaw or Ward for me, probably Shaw
Free hit really because I'm not banking anything under 135
Do you honestly think Danger will smash the Dons? Bc I don't
Who is everyone using for the loopholes?
My only non playing players this week are Wyatt, Broad, Phillips, Lids and Trengrove.
Kind of hamstrung as who gets the VC..
Has to be Pendles or Martin..

Goetzy boy
There is not much mention of Rocky, but it's probably because most teams don't have a loophole option after that game.
One thing I have noticed is that there haven't been many big individual SC scores scored against Crows this year, but I never thought of Adelaide as a tagging team. I'm considering Rocky VC but need convincing either way.

Tossing up between Pendles/Parker/Buddy I to Danger. Still undecided

It's definitely an option, but after the way the Lions played last week, and how everyone really struggled to score for them, he doesn't inspire confidence. They didn't quite lose by 100 points last week, and with Adelaide needing percentage, and in fact dropping some at the end of last game they should really put the Lions to the sword.
It is difficult to get big scores in a side that gets flogged, and it seems like that will happen.
Pendles :'(

Pendles :'(
Think I'll have to lock in Neale in the Derby? Danger is sure to tempt me though.
Was a toss up on Pendles or Parker, but my emotions got the better of me and I forgot about his scans earlier this week.
Pendles highest score ever vs Richmond is 132 - was never picking him

Lets be honest though we're all going to go danger Captain anyway. Hard to see him not pumping out a 150+ vs the bombers
Heater or Gawn for VC?

I've gotta pick one of Heater, Shaw and Hanners. Leaning towards Hanners, as my opponent doesn't have him.

Oh if only. My opponent has him in the draft league prelim. Would love to see him spud it up but even if he rests forward he'll kick 5. I think most will VC, get a 120/130 out of Rocky but in the end go Danger C as the risk is too great fir him to knock out a huge score vs a tired bombers

Yes can't see them taking it easy against the Bombers it is to close on the ladder , it is a big chance to increase there % and it is looking like coming down to % for that number 2 spot
Tossed up between Pendles and Gawn for VC. Went Pendles. Had the C on Gawn instead of Danger as worried he might limit his minutes this week.

Always happy with 160+ capt score. Most likely scenario will be 130-145 for Danger. We have just as much chance of him going 100. Scott should give him an easy hit out against Essendon.
Heater and Ward doing flower all
Danger gets the C
Well done to those with Gawn VC/C

Gut saying C Sloane over Danger! Tight game I need to do something different.

I came close to switching, but have stuck fat with Rocky. Let's go Mr Rerckleff.
Cheers Rory for getting me the numbers Buddy couldn't get earlier in the day :( Really expected Buddy to tear us apart ;)
Am pleased with 132 pre-scaling though :)
Changed my mind on Hanners and Gawn and went Heater. Oh well, cmon Danger!
Really need Danger to have a quiet one!
Up by 177 in my 2 main leagues (playing the same mate in both). He has Nroo and Zerrett left, we both have Danger C. If Nroo is going well when the Cats game is about to start, is it worth going Neale or Jelwood C, or hope that Zerrett has a quiet one?
Really should've stuck with Neale as C.

Hate myself for following the crowd this week.
Knew Scott would manage the shower out of Danger.
Still went him anyway..
Knew it was going to happen, but talked myself into hoping it wouldn't. Well, that's showbiz, as they say. >:(
