QuoteA reminder:
International Draft Picks: Includes all AFL National Draft Players and delisted WXV Players
Preseason Draft Picks: Only can use if you've passed an International Draft Pick. All remaining players from the International Draft, Preseason AFL selections and AFL Rookie selections (pre-signed and drafted) are available.
Rookie Draft picks: Go on to your rookie draft, have a maximum of 4 rookie picks depending on how many rookies you already have on your list (if you've got 2 rookies, you get 2 rookie picks)
List sizes are 40 senior players and 5-6 rookies (depending on how many AFL players there are). But you can delist/trade players so it doesn't matter now if you go over that limit.

I think there's a bit of a gulf between having Pick 1 and 4 and Pick 2 and 3 in this draft...
If Dean Terlich doesn't go top 5 picks I'll be disgusted.

Not really. There's a clear number one but that
may come at the expense of being able to grab someone good who plays in the tall guy spot.

True, you'd think said tall man will go 2 or 3 for sure.
There's a good chance one of these teams comes out of the draft without a recognised ruck. Which kind of sucks.

How's Dayle Garlett's life in New Delhi going? :P
Pfft, he was worth the risk. HBennell was just as bad as a junior

Levi got more votes than me in the coaches vote so he was given first pick in the draft. I imagine a similar thing would happen here.

Yeah, Toronto and Buenos Aires were the other way around when I said that haha. Editing your posts and quoting me to make me look like a moron! I don't need your help to do that Purps.
Personally, I think the two 'new' sides will really just look a lot like Toronto and the Dillos originally did given the pool of players. These two teams are drastically different to Sao Paulo and Wellington so I'm still rather skeptical as to whether this re-draft will in fact change the teams that much at all (though I understand the sentiment in drafting one's own team).

Real lack of decent defenders, especially young ones. Biggs is 24yo and averaged 78 unsubbed this year.
There were a lot of 90-95 average midfielders around though so I had no problems waiting a bit before picking them up. What I didn't expect though was for Vin to stack his team with them so I do slightly regret not picking up Swallow but all good.
I completely forgot about Pick 3 to be honest. :-X
Can totally see Nat picks being overlooked early when all the eyes are on players :P.

Seriously no-one picked Jack Leslie?
That's a bit harsh. Especially when you consider he's a key tall and was Pick 20 in the AFL draft so must have shown some talent in juniors. Always take longer to develop.
Could be a ruck option potentially which are valuable. I'd have definitely grabbed him.

Like a few said, shocked to see Swallow, Smith and Douglas go as late as they did!
From the Toronto boys, Edwards at 50, Sheehan at 54 (gun) and Mitchell at 53 should all do quite well for picks that late
Well done to both sides on a quick draft though and good luck with the trading. Don't think I'll follow any Buenos Aires games next year, seeing Pendles' name in someone else's best is like willingly walking in on your wife with the next door neighbour...
