Hardisty playing :D Abbott isn't tho :/
Will be interesting to see how much Hardisity has slimmed down and adapts to the fitness level. He finds showerloads of the footy but was a fat little prick
And surprised we haven't heard much on Abbott this preseason. Has the ability to be anything, was expecting big things
No Whitecross or O'Rourke for Hawthorn. Surprised Heatherley isn't playing, not sure what the deal is there.
Adams, BenKen, Freeman and Karny amongst those I'll be keeping an eye on for the Pies.
Side note - is this the first time Collingwood has played at Aurora?
Greenwood is someone I am keen to watch. As a quote used by Calvin 2 pigs in the pen. Greenwood and Swan
No 'Nipples' Manteit, was interested to see him.
Will have my eye on, in no particular order.
Woodward
Hartung
Elliot
Adams
Brown
Freeman
Crisp
Karnezis
De Goey
Will be interesting if I get sucked into picking Karnjesus if he goes well here.
Only just noticed that Tim O'Brien wasn't named. :-\
Karnezis and Anderson are the only 2 im interesting in seeing
Interested in all wearing brown and gold :)
Little bit surprised the Hawks are playing so many high profile players especially ones like Mitchell so early
one more sleep ;D
is it here yetttt. This must be christmas...

Yes it is. I live in tassie And aurora usually gets the teams that don't draw a huge crowd. But its been nice got sudney down here once. I hope they start bringing more victorian sides and some bigger clubs
Should we be worried that whitecross isn't named?

Hawks rotate assistants as their coaches for the NAB, Clarko is there but he isn't actually coach. I noticed them talking about Ratts so I figured he was the guy that got the gig. Last year Bolton had first crack and that was another reason they had so much faith in him when Clarko was sick.
Hawks just take the piss and do what they want lol
I was getting excited, footy's back, game's about to start. then something horrific happened...

Fooooooooooooooooooooty!
Woodward's grown his hair back. :o
Good grab by Big Boy
I'm disappointed BT wasn't commentating for that. :P
I am disappointed the BT isn't on the Triple M A team with Gaz, Spud and JB
A couple of things I am looking for in this game which has actually worked pretty well, Sidebottom vs the tag and Anderson in the guts.
Brand popped his shoulder
Jesse White, lel.
Brand. :'(
Grundy looks to be getting a hand to the ball in the ruck contests a fair bit
Seriously that was shower
Frawley holding the ball, interesting call.
Edit: Unintentional rhyming.
That was way to quick on holding the ball by the way.
Another good grab by Big Boy
Big Boy started well
BOY OH BOY, WOWEE!
He has lost a bit of weight as well
Apart from a couple of kicks the Hawks skills look really sharp
Crisp has been prominent already. Always been a fan of the lad.
Where can we track stats ?
Frawley spudding it early
It's weird as flower seeing Varcoe in Collingwood colours. I don't think I'll get used to that one any time soon.
Holy shower, I swear Breust looks massive.

Sidey could be a real POD this year.
Yeah both afl site and ff has nothing. Maybe they only gonna update at breaks like quarter times.
Is do goey playing are what ever his name. The final teams says yes but he not coming up in the live scores on FF
Mitchell to Hartung, hoping to see a bit of that this year.

Yes - doing alright too
Hasn't been the best start in the brown and gold for Chip Frawley
Frawley's pinpoint disposal on display
Good quarter by the Pies.
Mitchell would be a lock as a defender this year
Angus off his tucker.
Love how casual this NAB challenge is, with coaches in shorts and all.
And that is exactly what I wanted to see from Anderson. Dude is a gun
These young Hawks are ridiculous.
Anderson, Hartung, Woodward, Langford.
Scary.
Anderson awnnnnn Fire. Still no stats displayed anywhere?.
Sicily if you don't mind.
Speaking of young Hawks. The best of the lot just slotted a beauty. James Sicily!!!! :-*
Grundy is also looking pretty good
I don't think I've seen Greenwood or Freeman.
BKen getting a bit of the ball for the pies as well.

That was a good grab by Anderson before the 1-2 and butcher
White again :o
Anderson:
12 Disposals (2 Clangers)
9 Kicks
3 Handballs
3 Marks (1 Contested)
2 Tackles
4 Clearances
5 Score Involvements
4 Inside 50s
57 AF Points

How is
Grundy
Brown
Freeman
Pendles (if playing)
Going?
Also I really like Anderson don't think I will start him though! :'(
You'd lock Jed in if you could guarantee he wouldn't get vests.
Freeman is in fact alive and on the field.
Will need the game time percentages to put these scores in perspective.
Jackson Ramsay has been pretty good down back for the Pies.
Adams, Kennedy and Anderson the big ones so far from a fantasy perspective.

LOCK IN KARNEZIS. GOOD GREEK BOY.
He did this a couple of years ago then come the real stuff he turned into a spud
Do you mean the year he told the club he wanted to go back to Victoria at the start of the season, so we didn't bother to put games into him?
I think he does mean that year
Surely not!
In 2013 karnezis racked up 3 quality games pre-season. had an average 1st game was sub for the second and only played one game after that. So yes that game and one of the few decisions Voss made that I agreed with. Why waste time further developing a player who you know will not be there next year, karnezis is probably one of the genuine "homesickness" boys as it also effected him in 2012.
