The Tigers will look to send out coach Terry Wallace with a win over his former team, writes Betfair’s Nick Tedeschi.

Terry Wallace announced on Monday that Friday night’s match against the Western Bulldogs would be his last in charge of the Tigers.

With Wallace’s announcement goes a season’s worth of pressure for the Tigers. If only for one weekend, the Richmond Football Club will play carefree football. Such looseness has not been seen at Punt Road all year.

Playing without constraint and with the confidence of their tremendous last match win against Fremantle, the Tigers look set to upset the Bulldogs.

The best bet for traders is to take the big start and cheer on the Tigers. They will dig deep for their fallen coach and that should keep the match close. 27½ points looks far too big.

In the first of the remaining games, St Kilda have won 6 of their last 8 against the Kangaroos and have been totally dominant through ten rounds this season. It is difficult seeing a young Roos team getting near the Saints. Look to bet the Saints in all markets.

Brisbane have won 8 of their last 10 against Carlton and have won 4 of 5 at the Gabba this season. They have hit stride over the last month and with pressure on Carlton, the Lions are the bet at greater than 1.50 or spotting up to 12½ points.

Port and Fremantle is a battle between two spineless teams. Fremantle have actually beaten Port in two of their last three trips to Footy Park so the smart bet is to take the Dockers with the big start.

Adelaide have won 6 of their last 9 matches against Essendon and have won two on the trot for the first time this season. Expect them to be a little too classy for the Bombers. Take the Crows at better than 1.80.

Sydney are 0-5 away from the Harbour City this year with an average losing margin of 32 points. Sydney have won 7 of their last 8 against the Hawks, however. Traders should take the flip half-time/full-time doubles and try Sydney/Hawthorn and Hawthorn/Sydney.

Geelong defeated West Coast twice last season with the average margin being 117 points. The Cats have covered in three of their last four and can rack up another huge victory against the Eagles. Bet the minus at anything below 46½ points.

The Demons have covered the start in seven straight matches and can do so against Collingwood this coming Monday. The Pies have won their last three against Melbourne but only one of those victories was in excess of four goals. Take the Demons with anything better than 26½ points start.
