    Embarrassment of Mitch's
    At the age of 34 and now with a Brownlow to his name, Sam Mitchell moves to West Coast with a trailing average of 30 possessions for the previous two seasons, only having done better in 2011. He was outside the top 20 in clearances and the top 50 in contested footy last year, suggesting a lot more outside work than his extractor reputation implies. His disposal efficiency of 74% is elite among top midfielders.
    The Eagles already had the #6 and #7 clearance players in the league in Matt Priddis and Luke Shuey, so Mitchell is icing on the cake. Can they all maintain their numbers in tandem? Geelong had their ABC combo and the threepeat Lion medallists all got plenty of stats, so there's precedent. Mitch is still worth a middle round pick, though be prepared for him to be rested for some away games.
