• less than 20 disp. 3 times, and 1 of those was in first 16 years or so. Bucks was fantastic, but Harvs is a true legend. - BenW - 161 months ago |
• btw, only got - BenW - 161 months ago |
• 383 games, 2 Brownlows, International Rules selection, many times All Australian, the only thing really missing was the premiership. True legend, and should be a 2012 Hall of Famer. You heard it here first! - BenW - 161 months ago |
• Yes you are Biased but you're allowed to be, he was a champion and showed us a different type of courage; endurance and consistency when every one else including his team mates fell away. He was a big game player and it was just a shame he was never able to make it to the big dance. Unfortunately because of people hating the Pies more than they love their own club they fail to see that Buckley is almost up there with Leigh Matthews and Wayne Carey, premierships should not be the sole measure perhaps consistency during finals should be. - cptFantasy - 167 months ago |
• Harvey was an absolute freak, I might be biased but he was better than buckley, hird, voss, etc. He played at the highest level for 21 years and hardly had a bad game, I have never seen anyone able to gut run like harvs and the number of times he would spot up the likes of Plugger, Loewe, Gehrig and Riewoldt was astonishing. A true champion of the game and one of the greatest careers of all time.

• Harvey was great, but Buckley was a God. Statistics show this. If i were to choose between the two, Buckley without a second thought. - migman19 - 168 months ago |
• Buckley? wat planet are you from??? - R.Harvey35 - 168 months ago |
• i agree completely with everything you say. harvey was great, one of my favourites and i have a signed jumper in the bar room. but i just dont think he would have had a s.c as high as gaj even in his prime. i think buckley would be the only player of the modern era to rival gaj in s.c especially from 98-2003. Buckley was the complete player, simply had no weaknesses in his prime. - migman19 - 168 months ago |
• pft he got 40 touches week in week out and had high effiency to the tit of loewe, heatley, hall winmar mid to late 90's. he was unreal. go watch some youtubes. leg speed!!! - R.Harvey35 - 168 months ago |
• nah not that high. thats gaj territory. i rekon 115-120 max in his prime cause he didnt kick goals. - migman19 - 168 months ago |
• he would of been a 130-140 avg s/c in his prime - R.Harvey35 - 168 months ago |
• What a champ. An average SC score of 91.9 during his last four years of footy - BigV2011 - 168 months ago |
• I wanted to see him go on for 2-3 more years and beat Tuck's record of 426 games. Someone's got to do it now, and McLeod and Braddy Johnson are doubtful... - BenW - 172 months ago |
• What a champion - Harry_West - 172 months ago |
• 94 in SC in his last game at the age of 37! I am 33 and although I don't have a verandah over the tool shed (fat gut) I can't run for shower! - GJayBee - 175 months ago |
