TAGS (life club position role style health) (FF #1622) 2018 DT PRE-SEASON OUTLOOK (posted 11 Dec 2017) MJ's not dangerous
Michael Johnson owed Fremantle a bit after they stuck by him through a court process following a November incident at a kebab shop. He repaid them with 22 serviceable games at CHB, taking on some of the biggest names in the game and earning some scalps despite the team struggling to contain forward entries. His fantasy numbers have drifted down from a peak in 2012-2013 to hover near replacement level.Replacement is the key word there, as at this point Johnson could have been forgiven for enjoying retirement given that at the age of 33 he can't be in plans for the next Docker finals campaign. Their defence was lost without him when he missed most of 2016, and while Griffin Logue is the man aimed at taking his spot, Johnson signed on for another year to help him in the transition. He is free agent fodder in your league. -

PLAYER DISCUSSION • Bad call indeed. Over the last few years he has proven his worth. He's up there with the top several defenders in the comp. - God_ - 125 months ago • Bad call NewFreoFan. - the spud - 125 months ago • Bonafide spud, I don't care what he scores. Freo should delist him. - NewFreoFan - 146 months ago • racks up heaps of cheap ball as loose man in defence.hopefully sides start manning him up and his scores plummet would never be able to pick this guy with any confidence as a result of that - gigi85 - 149 months ago • None - do ride, drive or commute to work? (just thought I'd chuck in another irrelevant question) - S_Coach99 - 149 months ago • aren't you a big hero Scoach99. how many afl games have you played - sproud24 - 149 months ago • who cares what he takes, he plays for freo, he's irrelevant. - S_Coach99 - 149 months ago • I think players should be aloud to take recreational drugs. I'd prefer it if we drug tested; COPS, JUDGES, DOCTORS, LAWYERS and other people who change lives, rather than blokes who kick a bit of leather through wooden posts. - GJayBee - 149 months ago • Has to be one of the slickest player in the AFL - GET_FYFED - 150 months ago • Worth a punt as a dual position player? - MooSays - 152 months ago • Funny how his 2 worst games were against Richmond must have been out with Cousins the night before for a coke n ice - FLOPITOUT1 - 165 months ago • so lets get this straight. cousins gets suspended for a year on spec(allbeit we all knew he was on drugs but still no positive tests) and west coast face sanctions. stokes gets six weeks for trafficing/possesion of drugs', and now cocaine johnson gets 6 weeks. with neither club facing sanctions. just me or does this seem inequitable? - nortons - 173 months ago • Only 6 weeks? the afl system is a joke - Jugganauts - 173 months ago • Thanks, but that wasn't the point i wasn't trying to make. - tmnxn - 173 months ago • So are you saying that you have done coke before tmnxn? Your pretty much the coolest person i know. - migman19 - 173 months ago • Try coke and you wouldn't blame him - tmnxn - 173 months ago • No wonder he was always so calm when he got the ball DRUGGIE - Jugganauts - 173 months ago • http://w.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/fremantle-docker-michael-johnson-investigated-over-alleged-drug-related-matter/story-e6frf9jf-1225867917384 - BigV - 173 months ago • afl.com.au - Marcz - 173 months ago • Why do you say that BigV? - Hevvie - 173 months ago
