Despite a solid campaign in the SANFL in his first year on the Power list, Jack Trengove could only crack it for three senior games. His disposal rate dropped from 28 to 16 on the step up in level, still not as good as his first two years at Melbourne in 2010-11. A high average of seven marks rescued his fantasy scores somewhat, underlining his footy smarts as he knows where to run to receive.Trengove will compete in preseason for the wing spot vacated by Jared Polec, up against the likes of Riley Bonner and Sam Mayes. He's got the ex-Lion covered, but Bonner might be a more difficult hurdle. AFL clubs look for pace from their wingmen, and that's something Trengove lacks after all those injures in his early career. Worth a flier if he looks good in the JLT. -
