TAGS (life club position role style health) (FF #77) 2017 DT PRE-SEASON OUTLOOK (posted 3 Jan 2017) Back to defence for Mackie
Last season, Andrew Mackie had his worst numbers since 2006 as time inevitably began to slow him down. As coach Brad Scott tinkered with his defensive formation, he played a stop-first role rather than generating offensive play with intercepts. His disposals and marks dropped, with a personal best in tackles. Now in the twilight of his career, it appears likely that Mackie's numbers will decline once more. The saving grace may be in the form of a new role to replace Corey Enright, but it looks more likely that Jackson Thurlow and Tom Ruggles will have first shot. At this stage he looks to be a middle round selection or later. -

Needed everything from everyone to be a chance in this Prelim. - RobotNinja - 170 months ago • W - BigV - 180 months ago • ...why do people not like mackie?? i mean hes pretty hot - phoebe - 183 months ago • the only reason you would look at a breakeven for a player like mackie is to make sure his price has bottomed out - reconfig - 186 months ago • I think when ur picking a premium player like mackie, u dont have to worry about whether he'll earn u money because he'll be a keeper so u wont be trading him back out. Great time to pick him up tho with harley back in the side it'll free him up to play him running game - stinkfish - 186 months ago • What do you think about picking him up this week? His break even is 58, so he's definitely going to earn some money... - Macca9 - 186 months ago
