    Back hitch for Titch
    The Tigers were decimated by injury in the middle stages of 2019, which led to the move of Shane Edwards to half back, where he posted five startable fantasy scores and two sub-50s. Otherwise he spent all his time in his customary forward role interchanging in midfield, at which he is among the best in the league. He hit personal bests in disposals and marks, though his goal rate was the lowest since 2011.
    Edwards did not even make the squad of 40 for All-Australian honours, perhaps a reflection of his temporary status as a utility. If he does more of that as he continues his post-30 career he will turn into less of a Michael Walters and more of a Shaun Burgoyne, with the latter dropping off in his twilight as he was thrown wherever the coach thought there was a hole that week. He is a low-end starter in either position, with some variability.
