    Cheney's new reality
    22 senior games in 2016 for Kyle Cheney were followed by zero last season, as a hamstring injury plagued his year and he watched Jake Lever take his plus-one role for the Crows all the way to an All-Australian spot. His form in the SANFL when fit was impressive, nonetheless.
    Lever leaving means Adelaide may look at the ex-Hawk to fill that seventh defender slot again, as his intercept marking skills will be handy and he is more versatile than his rivals. That sort of game doesn't tend to lend itself to fantasy dominance in standard scoring though, and he will best be left for exotic formats.
