TAGS (life club position role style health) (FF #39550) 2017 DT PRE-SEASON OUTLOOK (posted 2 Jan 2017) White the silverback?
The departure of Travis Cloke means Jesse White is the oldest body left in the Collingwood forward line. If his goal kicking wasn't so bloody awful last year, he could have done three better than 23.20 and won the Gordon Coventry Trophy for team goal kicking. To the sometime despair of Maggie fans, White's spot in the team is secure due to his dual role supporting Brodie Grundy in ruck.Like many tall forwards, especially those who play as close to goal as he does, his fantasy scores are so variable as to make him an extremely difficult player to start every week. He does better against minnow teams, so he's worth a look as a free agent every now and again. Do not draft him at the start of the season despite his average, as he'll let you down more often than not. -

PLAYER DISCUSSION • You know you're not a good Dream Team option when your value falls under your starting price of $176k. - Barlow - 163 months ago • Curries had a couple of niggles white should get a game and looks a healthy option for your ruck bench since there doesn't seem to be anyone cheaper who will play. - GOGOS! - 189 months ago • no chance, Currie is taller, better, natural ruck, with the added bonus of forward play. They should blood (no pun intended) Currie in preference unless Whiite becomes a FB/CHB option - axel - 189 months ago • Will he play more games than Currie?? - asha1984 - 190 months ago
