Yes Yes I know it's only two matches but I was fairly impressed with the way he played (not that I actually saw the game :X)

Hypothetically, he continues to do well in the rest of the Nab Cup matches

What would he be seeing in terms of gametime or games and positioning in 2012 if any?

elephants

I rate him a lot. Was at the game and he played really well with stints on the ball.

Don't think he is a rookie?

Capper

ok, dont remember him from last year

CrowsFan

He got picked at 22 in the 2009 draft. Made his debut last year coming on as a sub in round 7 playing the final quarter. Spent the rest of the year in the WAFL.

LE do you think there is much chance he could fit in to the starting 22 now that LeCras is out for the season? Plays as a forward pocket or on the flank, and seems to get a lot of the ball. Could be a good benchie :)

elephants

Yeah maybe CF but I really doubt he has the tank to make it in the AFL At the moment. I reckon Hams will get first crack at Lecca's spot and if Hammer is being hammered and Weedon is playing well in the WAFL then he could get his chance. I doubt Weedon will string enough games together to be a good benchie unfortunately.
In saying that, I ain't Woosha ;)

CrowsFan

Well Woosha said this after the match last week regarding Weedon and Hams...
QuoteThere's no doubt they're both physically more prepared to play at the elite level than they have been before.

Then just about Weedon...
QuoteHe can play at the intensity of AFL football for longer periods than he has been able to do in the past... We know he's got massive strength and explosiveness but he hasn't been able to maintain it. Backing up with a really strong pre-season means he's ready to step up to that mark.

Sounds promising...
